What is your favorite mini?

Hmm, probably a dragon but I really couldn't pick one....or the Black Friar from Infinity......or maybe that awesome shipwreck golem. I'm waaay too much of a hobby butterfly to settle on just one ::P:

Have you ever backed or created a Kickstarter?

I have, but I seriously wish that I'd never heard of Soda Pop Publishing

What is your favorite proverb or saying?

I have two, both inherited from my Granny- "You catch more flies with honey than vinegar" and "If we were all the same, it would be a boring world"

Question for January 10, 2019

What was your favorite childhood story?

The Once and Future King. I read that when I was 7 and it sparked a life-long love of fantasy...which ultimately led me to mini painting! Also, Winnie the Pooh. A timeless classic that will always have a place in my heart.

Winnie the Pooh was really important to me as a very young person. When I was a little older (10 or 11 years old), I read The Lord of the Rings for the first time.

Question for January 10, 2019

What was your favorite childhood story?

When I was young I was mostly into science books, but once I got into fantasy then I was hooked. I've read The Hobbit and The Lord of The Rings Trilogy three times each. As for movies, Flight of Dragons sparked my imagination and got me into roleplaying, and Jim Henson's The Storyteller.

Question for January 10, 2019

What was your favorite childhood story?

They fluctuated, although I suspect the Redwall series was one of the first book series I truly enjoyed (or at least remember enjoying).  I keep meaning to read them again, although I'll have to find the books, because my parents gave away MY books from back then to others because of silly reasons.

A lot of my childhood is a massive blur to me, to say the least.

So since I can't quite think of one, I'll instead say...

Martians from Seasame Street, as well as DA COOKIE MONSTER OM NOM NOM NOM COOOOOOOOOKIIIIIIIIIIIIIES.

Another one of Heinlein's great comments was "An armed society is a polite society"

I also like Larry Niven's: "There is an Inverse Law between freedom and security"

Also the Narnia books, especially "The Magicians Nephew". Proud to say I realised the Christianity rip-off at an early stage. Didn't stop me from enjoying the stories, however.

I'm really impressed that you read T.H. White at that age. It's just a shame about "The Book of Merlin".

Not the absolute favourite, but I remember being absolutely inconsolable after finishing "Charlottes Web". Even now I would be reluctant to re-read it.

What was your favorite childhood story?

When I was VERY young it would have been a series of books called Freddie the Pig.

It was essentially about a group of farm animals living on a farm and having adventures.

It's a tie between Chronicles of Narnia and Watership Down.
