(BTW, I'm starting this topic under the Reaper Con section since that's when and where we'll be announcing the inductees.)

So, we're going to be inducting five individuals into the Reaper Miniatures Hall of Fame Wednesday night at the Meat and Greet. These inductees, and any future inductees, might be from any sector in the miniatures industry: painters, sculptors, industry people, game designers, etc. Just as long as that particular person has had some impact on Reaper Miniatures or the miniatures hobby in general.

The list of people eligible for the HOF is quite long. We debated a good number of potential inductees before narrowing it down to a list of five individuals. Granted, as this is our first year of doing this, the list of founding inductees is exclusively Reaper-slanted. But, next year, we really hope to begin inducting individuals outside of Reaper's umbrella.

We're not announcing the inductees until Wednesday, May 16...but would anyone care to make a guess who these might be? I know, but I ain't telling. :poke:

It was very tough, but we think our inaugural class is pretty diverse.

Hopefully it's not like nascar's hall of fame (shame?) selection process, ha ha. They just put people in there that will draw the crowds or people that they want in there & not what that person has done. I know Reaper is better then that.

Nice idea adding this to the ReaperCon festivities.

I'm happier than ever that I scheduled things so I could be there, even before I knew when it was going to happen!

I'm going to just stick with Reaper peeps to "play" with the idea of how hard it is to decide:

Ed Pugh, Dave Pugh, Al Sligh (Potentially all the Heritage folks, eh?)
Anne Foerster, Jen Haley, Marike Reimer, Derek Schubert (Although Derek deserves his own category)
Tim Collier/Wayne Reynolds
All of the sculptors!!!
Bryan Stiltz, Kevin Williams, Matt Clarke for some fantastic back-end work (no pun intended).
MichaelG / IXMINIS (I-X-Minis)

I think I'll go with:

Sallow - leadership, forethought
Rick Deckard - tenacity, naivete
Tank Girl - attitude!
Master - he's got the knowin' of a lot of things, although they'll probably choose Buckaroo Banzai instead.
Egg Shen - Coolness factor.

he he Egg Shen, one of my all time favorite characters.

Talin WAS & still IS the art side of Reaper. Good to see his artwork being used again (Angelica, Sophie, etc). While WAR is my current favorite fantasy artists I picture him more with either Pathfinder (epically Rise of the Runelords) or Wizards D&D.

Ed, defiantly Ed, heck Ed + 5 others. Ed deserves his OWN category/nomination!!

ReaperBryan, yup! If there ever was a public face for Reaper, he would be it!

Bob & Julie (not sure if you could just put 1 of them in, ha ha, maybe they could go in a duo, ha ha). Old school sculptors still rockin the mini world!

Werner Klocke...........I mean how many figs were bought just by saying "Klockenbooty!!!"

Sandra Garrity, how many sculpts in those first DHL #s are hers??? Enough said.

Anne, Bryan, Heisler, and Castlebuilder Tim would be my top 4.

Too many to try to cram into that last spot for me to choose just one.

Some of you have guessed some of them, but no one has guessed all of them.

How's that for vague? ::D:

Interesting choice, but Sho'nuff gets beat up by some dude name of...Leroy.... hardly a contender (pardon my pun).

OK. Trying again, I think they'll choose:

Aisling (Secret of Kells)
Madame Souza (Triplets of Belleville)
Lin (Spirited Away)
Deunan Knute (Appleseed)
Tima (Metropolis)

Honorable Mention: Jessica Rabbit (Who Framed...uhm, you know)
