  1. Figures by Warlord Games, converted and painted by me. In David Drake's book "Ranks of Bronze", he postulates that Crassus's defeated legion was sold into slavery to alien traders, who used them for interstellar disputes where the native tech level did not exceed that of Rome. I figure they made it back to Earth by 188--, in time to contest the Martian Punitive Expedition and adapted to the current steam and clockwork technology. Also, if anyone knows where my camera is, I'd love to hear it. I took this using my phone. I would speculate I spent fewer than 10 minutes total per figure.

  2. Hello again everyone! Well, here is Mousling # 2 of 3 that I am painting for some of my co-workers. My friend requested a purple cloak, a white beard, and stars on his hat; and I was able to do all but the purple cloak (I looked at my paints decided I didn't have enough purples to make that an easy request to fulfill). I'm really glad she asked me to do the stars, though, as I ended up having a blast painting the hat, and it gave me enough confidence to try a little freehand on some of my other minis. Anyway, without further ado, here he is! Unfortunately, given time constraints and whatnot, I had to rush portions of him, but I'm still pretty happy with the results. Thanks for looking and let me know what you think and what needs work!

  3. Heckelmeyer, the Skeletal Jester, is one of my all time favorite figures, from ANY company, in ANY time frame. I must have three or four around the house in various stages of alteration, and he used to be a recurring NPC in my old D&D campaign. Love to see what someone else does with him!
