No! Not the pitchforks! Here is the initial stuff... Big box of awesome! Six plastic bags, each filled with more plastic bags... This one is big and hard to miss so I'll put a pic up of her first before moving on to the other million or so minis. She wants you, Buglips. She told me so. She can overlook that you are a goblin (very big of her) and your stanky shoe collection, as long as you're not Canadian... oh wait... I'll put some more pics up as I open the packs.21 points

Well, here is another re-paint of a fairy sculpture, also a commission. Since the last one was done up in such warm, almost autumnal colors, I went with a very different feel here. Also, I wanted to get as far from the original color scheme as I could. This time I had the foresight to measure her height before I mailed her out and she is a little under 150mm scale- yes, that's very big for a mini. I find there are some advantages to having larger minis to work with, but getting smooth blends takes forever this way. I've posted her on Cool Mini for anyone who cares to vote.17 points

The entirety of the first bag... The fiery stuff, some chronoscope and Sci-fi goodies... Some fantasy stuff with big lizards and they ain't scared to put a bunch of familiars on one big sprue! So far everything looks really good. Flash seems fairly minimal. The are definitely some that will need a hot bath and re-bend though! On to bag two...14 points

Bag four is up! Lots of goodies including some sexy evil type ladies... Possible problem! Two undertakers means twice the player character deaths, but also that I either got an extra, or the package had two of one mini and zero of another put in! Hopefully it is just an extra. If so I'm happy to mail it back to China for redistribution... ok not really.13 points

Here's another mini I painted as a Christmas gift but only just recently got around to photographing~ Mini #4 was painted as a gift for my mother, who isn't really into geeky things, but loves my artsy hobbies. I went with something classy that I thought she'd enjoy (who doesn't like pretty ladies on horses?) and that wasn't too obviously D&D related. Fun fact: Because of how I had to base her to fit her inside of the baseball display case, when you look at her from behind she looks like she's about to fall off of her horse~12 points

Bag five... Contains an Owlbear that doesn't want to stand up and an oxidation beast that looks like it was hit by a truck. They'll be fine after the hot water though... Here is another shot of the oxidation beast road-kill. Also the inside of the sarcophagus is even detailed... though it won't come through in pictures very well...12 points

Bag two! I should note, the bags aren't numbered.. I'm just numbering them as I go for reference. Bag three as well! Note the wings are not attached to the Griffon, finally something to put together! The griffon is leaning a bit too far to balance with his wings attached. The wings fit snug without glue, but I can't think of any reason not to glue them eventually. This bag also has the cool ghosty bits.12 points

Hello, Prime Universe Kickstarters! This is Spilgub, Buglips's Alternate Universe counterpart. I've come to you, smelling fresh and not stanky, to help make your time waiting for your Bones much easier! Now, if you'll all step within the circle here, we'll begin. Ready? Here we go! *poof* Okay, so here we are in my Reaper universe, on my Reaper board. No, it's not backwards. It's pretty much the same. And no, you don't have an evil twin here. Probably. No, you can't go look! Pay attention! Now, if we look at our Kickstarter forum, you'll see it's quite lively. People are upset. Why? Well, something bad happened. The second shipment of Bones didn't show up in time, and nobody knows when it will! The best guess Nayrbrepaer can give is that they might be able to begin shipping in October! How terrible! You see how bad it is for us! Now imagine that this had happened in your universe. Yes. Customs, or a freak typhoon, or a factory accident. Months more to wait! Oh, how we envy you! So you see, it could be worse. I won't get my Bones for ages, while my smelly Prime Universe counterpart Buglips gets his very soon! It's outrageous! It's unfair! It's . . . Hey, wait. I'll be right back. *poof* *several minutes pass* *poof* Okay, don't mind me. Just dropping off some, uh, laundry. "Hey, let me out of this sack!" Now I think it's time to bring you all back to your Prime Universe where I . . . uh, I mean Buglips, will very shortly get his Bones delivered. And remember, kids, things could be a lot worse! You could have to wait more months for your Bones! Also there's the Killer App Robots who eat people. There's that, too. But I don't . . . I mean we don't... I mean you don't have to worry about those! Anymore. Everybody into the circle! *poof*11 points

Box six and more (possible) tragedy... We be goblins, cyber-ape, Giant and all sorts of goodies... Here is the problem though... Another double! And I don't remember seeing the dwarf pirate, though he may have been in a different bag. I'll have to do a head count tomorrow when the eyes are focusing a bit better. I also found a seventh bag! No really, Under everything else, there he was by himself. I think the other bones must have been afraid of him so that put him in segregation. He us among my least favorites, but I'll do his seventh bag justice. Done. Good night. That's a lot of work just to open all the baggies, and that's just one Vamp package... I feel for you guys that ordered multiples! It took a while and I really didn't let the pictures and posts slow me down too much... as evidenced by picture quality and composition!11 points

Wait... you've been here like 400 times. How can you not have taken the tour? Dude, you're one of my drinking buddies, and one of the highest paid ($0 with a x7 "valued volunteer bonus" multiplier) volunteers! When I ask you to go to casting, you know... so how have you never had the tour??? you realize, I've never taken the tour either... given the tour, sure, but never taken it...6 points

Backed their previous kickstarter and am backing this... Even though I've yet to assemble the Medieval buildings I received from their first one. Which is okay, as my unbuilt buildings go quite well with my unpainted mini's... In a Zen sorta way.6 points

This has been painted for a while now, but I had to keep it under wraps until Christmas, and then I got lazy and didn't feel like taking pictures of it until the other weekend~ But here he finally is: Mini #3! My father's a big Japanophile (as am I for that matter) so I painted this up for him for a Christmas gift. I've gotta say, all of the little details on his armor really drove me crazy! I've got no one but myself to blame, though, for the detailed kanji I insisted on painting on his arm guard~ C&C appreciated~5 points

To my mind, a single plastic injection machine isn't going to be enough for Reaper to do their entire Bones production as the line expands. Pretty sure they'll need multiples, and if they can get them sooner, through a kickstarter, rather than later, waiting for profits from regular sale of minis, then I say go for it.5 points

Personally I'm absolutely disappointed with this KS due to the fact that my order has not yet been hand delivered with an accompaniment of singing, ice cream, and cake. I don't think fireworks would be too much to ask either. Thanks for posting the pics of this. Just makes me happier with what I'm getting.4 points

Unless their next kickstarter includes robotic miniatures painting machines, I really hope they hold off on another for a little while... (BTW, if anyone DOES a kickstarter for robotic miniatures painting machines, someone PM me!! So many unpainted figs...)4 points

What is this 'sleep' people talk about? Is that some sort of caffeine alternative? :twitch: It's terrifying! Without enough caffeine your body undergoes these hours of partial paralysis and hallucinations! :shudder: And while I might welcome a new KS from Reaper, and a Living Nethyrmaul, I agree that 2013 is probably out.4 points

I would love a couple of sprues of wings for conversions. Lovely, lightweight Bones wings that won't overbalance a metal mini they're attached to. What would be awsomer would be transparent fairy wings or translucent bat wings. Halber4 points

Here's the link: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1093338811/east-asian-village-for-28mm-gamers I backed their last project, and received my Gazebos and was quiet happy, even though I've not had time to do a permanent paint and build of them yet.3 points

So my parents are showing symptoms of benzine poisoning, (bloody nose dizziness vomiting and so on) Exxon has agreed to cut them a check for $160 a day for a hotel/food for them and their cat + any and all dr bills for the moment without any forfeiture of future compensation rights. On the bright side my daughter seems 100% fine so that's a load off.3 points

I think two possible errors out of a whole box of bones is probably better than if I were packing them! I say "possible" from a customer standpoint.. if they are extra's they are not really errors for me but for the manufacturer. If they got stuck in and others missed, then they are errors from the point of view of the customer. Overall I'm exstatic about the quality and especially the quantity of minis in the box. Besides, I'm confident that Reaper will make any problems right, they're good peoples. Besides, for a short time I may have more bones than Buglips. Though I'll never catch up to his start painting them!3 points

More variety of giants and female giants that could kick your butt. The more I think about it, a female Fire Giant with a two-handed hammer would be very cool in the vein as Vanja. A female frost giantess with a giant ice-axe would be cool too. Other things include more monsters (some of the warlord monsters/horrors) brought over to bones would put them in a price I could get away with from my wife (looking at goatmen, and especially the monsters in the Warlord Darkspawn line). Cavalry. I'd love to be able to buy a cav figure that doesn't cost $15-20. In the neighborhood of 4-8 is reasonable, and then I could actually afford to buy a 5-person charging unit :) And... from the other thread... a LIVING Nethyrmaul on the same platform as the undead one. This would be exceedingly cool.3 points

Do you mean the ancient Chinese terracotta army of the Duke of Chin? Yes, please, and some Han-style horses for their cavalry.3 points

So here's another miniature that I just finished, going way back with the year 1976 etched on the bottom of the base. It's an odd figure but kind of interesting. Kind of reminds me of a Don Quijote type of character. This is really, really old Ral Partha, some of their first fantasy figures that they made. It's actually pretty large, maybe close to 54 mm or so? The runes on the banner were actually harder than I thought they woud be because they were actually carved into the banner, so they aren't something I created, but rather tried tracing over first in black, then in palomino gold. My NMM armor, as always, I have mixed emotion about, but keep practicing at. Anyway, some of you will get waves of revulsion at such an old figure, but I think many more will get waves of nostalgia...2 points

YES!!! That is a precious collection of great character. I see some old figs in there too, which warms my heart. Well done!2 points

I do consider myself blessed for having such a large group and all are very serious & dedicated to game play...they range in the age group of 18 to 32...I have a 2nd group that is smaller and older (it has 6 PCs)...they range from 24 to 45 in age and deal with more (adult situations in game play)!2 points

I missed it too. I console myself with the fact that I'd never paint all of those anyways, and I can probably pick up all the ones I *really* want for cheaper than $100. Maybe. Don't have room to display all of those anyhow. (Is it working yet?) I did, however, manage to get a wyrmgear, jabberwock and half a there be dragons in on a friend's order (during the 150% price time). I just didn't know then that I would want more!2 points

Their Medieval Village Kickstarter was well thought out and responsive. They gave regular updates, including when they were having trouble with the new laser cutter, not that that slowed them down all that much. They fulfilled all their pledges on schedule. Their modular building kits are well crafted with creative detailing and fit together well. This all bodes well for their new project.2 points

A small update, this time focusing on a terrain piece I built. A small lake for the Field of Glory gaming system. It is a normal sized, impassable piece. Should be good to protect my flanks or to disrupt my opponents deployment. If you find the fish on the first picture you may go for aswim ;). The last layer is not entirely dry yet, given the high humidity at the moment. However, it will be crystal clear in the end. Last but not least a total view of the terrain piece: I like how it turned out, but would go for a slightly more calm surface next time. I used two layers of epoxy resin (each 45ml of resin) covered with acrylic gloss gel for th water effect. This is not my invention, but was inspired by the Terranscape artisan youtube podcasts.2 points

*holds up a sign: Argentee's home for unloved Mouslings* I ordered a goodie bag, so if its in there I should get one. But I will NEVER turn down Mouslings. That's like... Turning down chocolate or something. The universe would implode.2 points
