  2. Landwryms are cunning wingless predators that ruthless scour their environment for prey, some claim that they represent a more primitive ancestor of dragons .... they lack magical abilities or the breath weapons of cousins but are well adapted to their environments. The gargantuan Desert Landwyrms are serpentine with yellow-brown scales that blend with their natural surroundings. Their powerful front and rear claws are normally held tight against the body. They are cunning and patient predators who lie in wait for victims. Conversion included removal of wing slo

  9. What Happened Wednesday for May 19th: 1780 – New England's Dark Day, an unusual darkening of the day sky (so dark that candles were needed from noon until the next night), was observed over the New England states and parts of Canada. It's believed to have been caused by a combination of forest fire smoke, a thick fog, and cloud cover. 1911 – Parks Canada, the world's first national park service, was established as the Dominion Parks Branch under the Department of the Interior. 1997 – The Sierra Gorda biosphere, the most ecologically diverse region in Mexic

  13. Hi! 🙂 I see myself as a somewhat of an advanced beginner at mini painting. After painting minis on my own for some time, I became interested in revisiting the instructions from my Layer Up! kit. This was the only figure I had left, so I went with it. Overall, I had less fun with it comparing to when I was just starting out. That's because I felt like the instructions were pushing me in directions that I did not want to go. The place I've struggled the most with was the sash. I could not understand its layout, until I looked at the metal version of this figure. At which poi

Sibling is getting their second shot today. We're still waiting to hear back from dishwasher repair place about a quote. I think (hope) Husband left messenger open after he told me he was leaving his moms. Otherwise he's been typing for 20ish minutes.

  26. It was unexpected eye surgery, but not in a bad way. The new lens they inserted into my left eye a few months ago had been building up a film of, well, crud. *EDIT* Apparently it happens about one out of four times. Yesterday I went in for the examination, with the surgery to follow. They had a last minute cancellation, and since I was right there, instead of waiting a week they just whisked me into surgery, and ten minutes later they were finished. But the eye drops always throw me for a loop. I napped in the park (and missed the bird battle), t
