  1. Here are two of the pieces from the throne room. And yes, the tapestry uses a prinout and is not freehand - only in my wildest fantasy could I do that myself without a printer, sissors, and glue

  2. And a final, for now, wolf installment from my muddy gothic eastern europe campaign. Alas, it is on hold, since I lost my eldest's attention and we are off to use that Pirate Ship.... Felt happy with this pair... no fuss wolves which I painted in a couple of hours....

  3. i finally received my copy of rangers of shadow deep.which means i need to start to paint my ranger and his companions. I have started with creating his Team. Part of his Team will be a conjurer (mandalf the blue), an arcanist ( sister Hazel) and an archer for ranged Support. For the first time i have tried wet blending with mandalf and Hazel. With Hazel it Went well i think. With mandalf it went more ok-ish. Archer guy? Ddid just get a quick paint. I dont care wether he lives or dies, looks good or not. Why has mandalf the blue such a silly name?

  4. The Dungeon Dwellers Dragon. This little guys doesn’t get much attention with all the bigger guys in the Kickstarter, but he really is a detailed little beauty. The Sea Giant. My mast was badly curved, so I couldn’t fit it in his hand. This guy, outside of the pirate ship, has to be one of (if not thee) most spectacular minis from Bones V!

  8. Here's a few things you may (or may not) find interesting that happened on July 9th: 1877 – The inaugural Wimbledon Championships began. 1922 – Johnny Weissmuller swam the 100 meters freestyle in 58.6 seconds, breaking the then-world swimming record and the first to break the 'minute barrier'. 1937 – The silent film archives of Fox Film Corporation were destroyed by the 1937 Fox vault fire.

If you work on you Sapphire pyramid, you can buy some of the creatures featured below (assuming your opponents don't grab them first). 12. Yay Friday. I am over sitting upright today. Neck is mostly better, only a tiny bit of stiffness if I turn my head quickly. Center of my back is still a knot of angry muscles but less lava, and my right shoulder mostly functions to just shy of level with the ground. I am down to only taking the prescription meds to sleep though and getting by with alternating Tylenol and ibuprofen and liberal applications of the heat pad during the day. So Progress? bicycle wrecks - 1 star, do not recommend. I now have to start shopping for a new helmet though, because I inte

  16. I'm glad to see the dead shark is mostly detached already. I've got a plan to hang a dead pirate from that scaffolding so all my fish people can pose with it. Looks like if I'm careful with the hobby knife I may even be able to salvage the shark to use on it's own. Man, seeing those pictures and knowing everything should be in Denton soon-ish is getting me awful excited. Thanks for posting!

  20. There is one more tip I can give. There is a thing on this forum called the Box of Goodwill. It's basically a bigass box filled with miniatures that gets sent out to members. When it's your turn and you accept the package, the idea is to go through, take out mini's of your liking, and fill it with other miniatures that are collecting dust at your own shelves and could use a better home. Trying to keep the value of what you take out and put in about the same, then send it to the next person. So it's not a direct trade, but more like a swap-box, you won't know upfront what's inside.

  22. Got to a work site this morning and opened my gear bag to grab some PPE and immediately realized I forgot to scrub my gear over the weekend. My reflective vest, which gets covered in nasty stuff every week, had been sharing a bag with the rest of my gear in a car trunk in 90+ degree heat for nearly a week. The smell was something else entirely. Best I can describe it as was a couple of skunks having hate sex in a pool of vanilla scented sunscreen while a sweaty meth addict sprayed them down with bug spray. A truly unique nasal assault to be sure. Luckily I was already wearing a neon yellow shi

  24. How is this beneficial for the company? Reaper doesn't get anything extra by declaring a higher price. The only "benefit" a company gets by declaring a higher value is that it's less likely that some government bureaucracy comes after them for under-declaring the value. I'm sympathetic to the situation Canadians are in regarding these fees, but it does no good to assume that any of this was done with malicious intent.

  25. It's not the weekend yet, but since I couldn't do any gardening thanks to the rain, I built the minis I picked up from the newest Age Of Sigmar starter set:- Since they were secondhand I wanted them built to make sure I wasn't missing any pieces, now I need to figure out where to store them.

  27. While direct trades/selling is not allowed here, if you are on Facebook, there is a page "Buy/Sell Reaper Miniatures and other minis" that you could join to see about trading.

  28. No, we do not allow trading on the forums at all. Cross-posting this over from the Info thread - Unless you are one of the 2,000 or so backers who never locked in your original order, you must create a new account in the pledge manager if you wish to order anything from the 5.5 pledge manager. They were hoping to make it work so that you could use the same account after your pledge shipped, but unfortunately that was going to create too much room for error in the database. Also, they do NOT expect that any items will be turned off before the 90 days are up.

  29. The heat's here. I 3D printed from PLA a replacement mail box flag several months ago. Today it melted. Not entirely, but the flag did decide it was waaaay too hot so it laid down on the top of the mail box. I've gently put it back over to the side. Hopefully, it'll reform into something that's at least usable.

  35. Presenting Sakana (Not sure if this is the regular or veteran version), a member of the Fisherman team from the, now defunct, game Guild Ball by Steamforged Games. This guy was one of those weird Guild Ball minis where I'm not quite sure what's going on with their outfit, I still can't figure out if he's wearing a roll-neck vest or just has a odd neck and, now looking at it in piccy form, I'm pretty sure the top half of his trousers aren't actually trousers. He still came out okay though. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

  37. Had two packages arrive the last couple of days. I was assembling some STAP riders (so B1s on weird flying rigs) and dropped the back of a head. I was unable to find it, but was pretty sure the upgrade box had at least one extra head in it (for the sniper). But after looking , I couldn't find the sprues I know I put somewhere so I wouldn't lose them....of course. So I ordered the two upgrade boxes I still needed. Of course, shortly after I ordered them I found the missing piece..... And today my KS rewards from Oathsworn's latest arrive. I just took a quick

  40. I know this is going to sound daft, but are you sure you only spent ~ 300 USD on the kickstarter? Could you have done several orders that totaled more and forgotten you did? If that Value for Duty is in Canadian dollars, it would have been around 546 dollars USD. Anyhow, I did several orders myself, and my initial pledge was 260 + shipping, but I ended up having ordered well over 800 dollars worth of stuff with multiple orders. Mind you, I'm not trying to say you can't remember what you ordered, but I have spoken with people who've gotten their pledges and forgot they ordered somet

Second guy understands I need the part sooner than later and basically went "well, you tried through your usual means and clearly want to get this, and our Canadian direct sales isn't up yet... How about we just do a direct order for you and then ship it to you? You'll have to pay shipping, but you'll get the needed accessories a lot sooner".
