  1. Yesssss...Father Dagon and Mother Hydra and Great Cthulhu be praised, for the Stars are Right and Y'hanthlei's populace has surfaced....*hssssss*
  2. I have the same last name as one of GW's sculptors. Tim Adcock is responsible for the Tau battlesuits and new Rhino APC. Could be the same branch, my great-grandfather came to the US from England during the 1st World War.
  3. Heh. Last year's senior class rioted and held a walk-out of classes because when they voted on what song they wanted as their prom song, they voted for Every Rose Has Its Thorn and the administration vetoed it because of sexual innuendo.
  4. AOL Cds are for propping up unlevel tables. I'm doing 100% better at pool since I stuffed about six of them under one of the legs. What are the general dimensions of the Dragon of Fire? He costs a bit more than some of the other blister-sized dragons, so I'm wondering if he's bigger as well.
  5. Frankthedm - I dunno, I kinda like the Water Buffalo-ish look of the Minotaur.
  6. A human bard, male, bearded, carrying a lute and wearing a hood. He should be sitting on a log, strumming his lute and singing along. And a Buddha to go with the Oriental Dragon. I practice Nichiren Buddhism, and I'd like a really nice, though inexpensive Buddha that I can focus on whilst chanting.
  7. An Amphisbaena: a dragon with a head on both ends.
  8. First off, you're making me want to go back and rewatch Return of the Jedi. This is a good thing. Second, you're making me twitch for some Green Stuff and to put money towards GW. I'm undecided regarding how good this is.
  9. The head - with the eye sensors in a cluster - actually looks like it belongs in the Star Wars Universe. I don't like the newer movies, but I love the original trilogy, and I'm vaguely reminded of IG-88, the Assassin Droid-turned-Bounty Hunter from Empire Strikes Back. He was always the coolest. Him and 4-LOM from the same sequence.
  10. guards (human/orc/ogre/whatever) asleep at their posts...slack-jawed, slumping forward, maybe sculpt a little trickle of drool for us...
  11. I put on whatever's appropriate to the mini in question. Mummies always get the song "Curse of the Pharoah" from Meduza's album Now and Forever.
  12. Is that a row of Monty Python's Flying Circus tapes I see in that last picture Death Angel?
  13. "I cannot help but feel, in the depths of my heart, that my dear fellow man is essentially trash." -- Sigmund Freud I feel for ya, man. I was robbed recently as well. Gym class, after I'd changed, somebody went through my pockets, found my wallet, extracted my money and put the wallet back.
  14. Nefsokar Cavalry Lancers -- Similar to the Polearm Grunts, but with flowing capes, LIVING horses (not undead) and longer versions of their polearms, held in the crook of their elbows, with their free hand on the reins.
  15. Combined with a dash of the Arabian Nights, from the looks of things.
  16. Now if only the places around here were HIRING...
  17. Buh...buh...buh...wha...That female Necromancer with the adorable little familiar are must-haves. Female scribe...maybe. I may pick up the female dwarves just because I don't think I've ever seen another company do female dwarves that actually looked feminine.
  18. Re-reading the Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, I was thinking how cool it would be to have miniatures of the central characters: Arthur Dent, in his bathrobe looking rather befuddled; maybe holding a copy of the Guide. Ford Prefect, looking perfectly non-chalant, tall, thin, wavy hair also perhaps holding the Guide. Zaphod Beeblebrox, two heads, three arms, a cosmic-looking leisure suit (remember, he was voted worst-dressed sentient being seven years running) shooting a winning smile and holding a drink (Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster, of course). Trillian, slender, in a plain dress, her hair held back with a scarf tied in a vaguely arabic manner. Marvin the Paranoid Android, looking pained and clutching his left side (horrible pain in the diodes along his left side) or sitting on the ground with his chin propped on his hands. Maybe even Slartibartfast, though any long-haired wizard could probably be converted to resemble him. What do you guys think? Any other HHGTTG fans here? And who would sculpt them? I like Bobby Jackson's humans a lot, or maybe Sandra Garrity, especially for Trillian.
  19. It's funny because I have long hair and an interest in leather armor.
  20. I'm madly and rapturously in love with a 1:1 mixture of Delta Ceramcoat's Walnut Brown and Timberline Green. It creates a perfect shade for alligators, Dark Young of Shub-Niggurath, and non-flaming demonic entities.
  21. She's only 37 feet long, including tentacles...decisive evidence exists for one 59'6", and anecdotal evidence for much, much larger. Mmmm...calimari.
