After meeting up with Dilvish the Deliverer and Damenace in Edinburgh the other day I picked up a paint brush for the first time in about a year or so? Before and after my move from Australia to the U.K. I didn't really have the time but here I am, back again! Feels a bit like learning from scratch again, I'm a little rusty. But I'm having fun.
On Saturday I took some paints and some minis to Black Lion Games to meet the guys. The owner was nice enough to lend us the table in his store. (It was also Free Comic Book Day, so, many free comics were had that day.)
I had a Bones figure I had put a base on last year, 77076: Lysette, Female Elf.
My phone seems to have made her skin tone a little orange-r than it is in person.

I told Awesome Wife about the Red Sonja book and how I got Cassu to sign it. She bounced up and down like a little girl. Thanks again Cassu!

Meeting the guys tomorrow! About to pack up some Bones minis and some paints to take. Will try and take some photos for you all. Plan to stop by Forbidden Planet first since it's Free Comic Book Day.

Yay! Fantastic timing since Dilvish just PMed me saying he would be over. I live outside Edinburgh but can catch the train to Glasgow. You're both also welcome over for mini painting, dinner, etc. I've only been here a couple of months so don't know too many places. There's a minis shop in Edinburgh called Black Lion Games I am still as yet to visit.

I am adoring this colour scheme, those oranges really balance out the mini well and it draws some really nice focus. The leather on the back of her outfit, so nicely shaded. *drools*

Those issues you can't fix in Photoshop, not even Photoshop can add pixels that aren't there. It just seems as though your phone is taking really low-quality photos.
