I know what you mean about the addiction. I've only been getting back into this since December and I'm on here reading tips and looking at other people's work every day. I've stripped and prepped several of my old mini's and just started actual painting work on two of them, so all of this is REALLY new to me. As a matter of fact, I need to pay closer attention to my prep work as I just found a flash line that I missed on the leg of the giant that I'm working on that will need to be removed and redone. But I'm having fun learning. The tips and people on this board are invaluable for a beginner such as myself and I'm very glad to have found such a great place with people who share in my interests. I am about as novice at this as it gets, (I just started painting mini's again after about a 12 year hiatus before which I had no clue what I was doing) but I just happened to do some eye painting last night and I found that my 18/0 did a very nice job. I found that I could very easily paint in the whites to the size that I wanted and also make the pupils small enough that it did not overwhelm the whites. Of course, I was working on a frost giant, so the eyes are a little bigger than the standard figure, but I think it would work just as well on something smaller. Ok. I finally have some measurements. It is sitting on it's hind legs with the tail coiled behind it and stands about 8 cm tall. I hope this helps a bit.

I don't know the dimensions right off. I'll have to measure it when I get home. It was from an old AD&D box set containing a large dragon, two baby dragon's (one is hatching from a batch of two or three eggs) and a large pile of treasure that served as the base. I'll try to get more info later. In the meantime thanks again for the help.

Hello. I have been following posts on this board for a couple of weeks, but this is my first post. I have just recently dug out my crate of old mini's and started painting them again after years of collecting dust. One of the mini's is a fairly large dragon that no longer has any wings. Does anyone know of a good resource for parts to repair things like this. I have looked in the Reaper Boneyard, but it is difficult as nothing in there has dimensions listed. I have several other mini's that could also use some parts here and there and would really use a good source in order to complete them. I have seen people make mention of sculpting their own parts, but I don't think that I have the talent yet (if ever ) to even attempt doing that. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!!!
