  1. I used to paint things in more moderate, grungy, naturalistic tones. In my advancing age I find the brighter tones more fun and easier to distinguish on the tabletop. :)
  2. Thanks. I enjoyed painting these and I just ordered some more Reaper lizardmen minis last night. :)
  3. Thanks, I think I'm getting back up to speed now after my long hiatus. Since I'm not doing scenic carpentry and scenic painting all the time now my wrist muscles aren't worn out at the end of the day. Lighting design is much easier on the muscles and allows me to enjoy my hobbies again. I've started making Reaper mini orders and I have indeed started a show-off thread for my new work. :)
  4. Hi all, I posted a while back about returning to painting, it'd been eight or nine years since I picked up a brush, and I've now painted two lovely Reaper lizardman sculpts. They were really a joy to paint, process and progress pics on my blog here; http://squirmydad.wordpress.com/2013/05/08/lizardmen-part5-shaman/ http://squirmydad.wordpress.com/2013/05/07/lizardmen-part4/
  5. Hi, first post here. I haven't painted anything in about nine years, but for some odd reason I got excited by the Bones Kickstarter and bought in. So I'm kinda re-learning how to paint, which isn't easy for lots of reasons. One of the last things I painted before shelving my paints was this guy, which I think is a Reaper mini; So to ease myself back in I picked up an Asylum pre-painted bugbear and re-acquainted myself with dipping, matte coating, and textured basing; Pre-painted plastic has come a long way since I quit painting. So once my Bones arrive I hope to show off my own paintjobs. Thanks reaper for getting me back into painting. :)
