Yeah, I had to do the same thing!  They're scrolling along and you're going there's those guys... and they included those folks... oh look it's so & so... wait!  Who the heck was THAT?!

Once you find out who it was, you can see why they included him, and it has some interesting implications going forwards.

I looked it up but I found it obvious from the context.

Saw Endgame again for Mother's Day. It's not as good the second time around because you see more of the "family trip itinerary" nature of the plot pacing, but the scenes where they argue about Cap's broccoli and where Cap gets back up dramatically and sees who he has left on his side are definitely worth the time spent rewatching the rest.

One of my players - a long time Werewolf player and Storyteller - watched that scene and said 'I've done that!'

I suspect that a lot of W:tA players have similar stories. ::D:

The Auld Grump - I jump down its throat, and kill it from the inside!

It's practically a requirement if you're Fenrir. Though we get Trollskin and Venom Blood, so it kinda does make sense. At least when I did it, it was to pull a Silver Fang out.

Wednesday I finally played Azul (which I got in the mail the day before), a well produced abstract game where you have to try and line up tiles to score points.  A fun game but one I need to play more to get better at.

We also played Spot It, which is a game where a round card with several different items on it (like a 4 leaf clover, a car, a heart, etc...) is put in the middle and you have to place your card on top, trying to match one symbol.  It seemed like a simple kids game so I was nonplussed to start, but at the end of our second game (where we had to place on opponents stacks) I was so into the game I jumped out of my chair when I won.  It was far more exciting then I anticipated.

I played Azul and Century: Golem Edition at a friend's house. CGE has better nift than Century: Silk Road but is otherwise the same game. I also recently tried the new Terraforming Mars Expansion and finally won! It gave everyone a boost in power and I was most able to take advantage of mine. I ended the game with 50 TR before counting points.

    Oct 26-28 Weekend Quest

When was the last time you met someone new?  Did you like them, why or why not?
Introduce yourself/talk to someone you don't know this weekend and tell us about it?

Wednesday. There was a new guy at our Transformers TCG meetup. He seemed ok.

I'm doing political canvassing this weekend. I'll be introducing myself to hundreds of people.

I work for a company that makes AI, so I'm just gonna go with "a lot". My phone is a Google Pixel 2 and my mobile lab is a 2018 Honda Accord Hybrid.

Hubby and I watched Skyscraper, that film with the Rock as a security consulatant for the largest building in the world. It didn't do well in the box office, partially because people thought it was a Die Hard rip off. I can confidently say that, aside from being set in a mostly empty building and there being elfholes with guns wanting to kill them all, there's really no similarity. I actually thought it was more similar to The Towering Inferno, which is also wasn't very similar to.

Anyway, it was a fun action movie. Enough plot to make sense, but not much more. Decent actors, convincing effects, and children who weren't so stupid you wanted them to fall off the building. It's a popcorn movie... a shame I didn't have any popcorn.

I loved the fact that his prosthetic leg was more than just a thing to stumble against that magically saves the day because it's a movie. He really thought of it as a tool and used it intelligently for a variety of things.

Oct 8: How far do you travel to get to work and how long does it take?

It's 29.55 miles as the crow flies, but a lot farther as the transit system lies.

I leave the house at 7:20 and arrive at work just before 9:00.

Oct 9. What is your favorite "junk food" movie?  (I.e. a movie you rather enjoy but isn't necessarily a "good" movie.) (Xiwo Xerase)

The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across The Eighth Dimension.

Too many to list, I seem to have a fondness for "bad" movies. Some that come to mind immediately are: the first three Transformers movies, the fourth is too long and I haven't seen the fifth; 2012 and other world ending disaster movies; and the always awesome Cutthroat Island.

The fifth is the longest movie I have ever seen. The only reason I made it to the end was because it was the first half of a double feature.

I would lever give up drawing. Just yesterday our insurance company gave us some great pens and I drew me a Stussy doodle.
