Which still frustrates and saddens me, because the frost giants were central to the frost giant army in Warlord and the new ones arn'e equivalent, especially since Reaper has decided to use only 5th ed sizes for forthcoming giants. Still hope though. Perhaps they could be released as "lesser" giants.

    or perhaps Seven-Foot Dwarves?

I would personally call this the reusing the bag clip, since it comes with the bag....

Speak not such lies, good sir! The bag clip is vastly superior to the twist tie. My bread comes with twist ties, which I replace with bag clips when I open the bread.

Weekend Topic: Museums! Do you like going to museums? What were some of your favorite exhibits, and if you could create your own, what would it cover?

I love Museums! I was in Halifax last weekend and we went to the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic and they still had the big Halifax Explosion exhibit up. A refugee relief ship collided with what was basically a 3 kiloton frag grenade in ship form, killing 2000 people and obliterating a large section of the city.

I remembered the New England Museum of Science (Cambridge, Mass.) as a temple of awesomeness from my childhood. Then as a college student I was disappointed in the glitzy but dusty corporate hucksterism of the Museum of Science and Industry (Chicago) and wondered if my memories had been colored by nostalgia.

Then I went back to the New England Museum of Science and it WAS a temple of awesomeness!! Educational! Fascinating! Thought-provoking! In-depth! Beautifully laid out! And when there was corporate sponsorship it was on a discreet plaque somewhere, not emblazoned in giant screaming letters.

My family's been members for over 30 years. It got a little shabby looking around the turn of the century, but it's back in full form.

May 10: Do you have a favorite book genre? What do you like about it?

AAMOF, no, I read 'em all. I'm currently in the middle of a Fantasy series and need to get back to a near-Future Detective Novel series. After that's done, I have a backlog of humorous SFF anthologies to go through and I just received a sack of LeGuin from a friend who moved out of town. But I also read classical literature, nonfiction, and game books.

My husband and I had an incredible server at a restaurant recently and we exchanged wild stories. We try to be super nice customers because we understand the pain....

May 8: Do you have the patience and willpower for customer service or retail industries? Do you have any crazy stories?

Yes and Yes but not the thick skin.

May 5 and 6: What motivates you to paint? Do you think you'll be able to paint this weekend?

The desire for solitude, to commune with my Bones, these things bring me to my nerd cave to paint.

    No, I was in Canada.

    I may be overthinking this.

I call it "molecular cohesion" and the same principle applies to bedding. You want blankets with good molecular cohesion so that the top sheet doesn't get all crumpled in one corner and the comforter doesn't dribble off the foot of the bed.

May 3: Do you know a second (or more!) language or would you like to learn one someday?

I've been trying to learn Russian for years. I was on Duolingo for a while but they kept trying to upsell me and their XP system rolls over at 23:59:59, even if I'm in the middle of a lesson. Also on my to-do list are French, Japanese, and Hebrew.

I feel that any meal that can be eaten while held in one hand so as to facilitate gambling counts as a sandwich. My favorite sandwich is the Reuben, which I have only rarely ordered more than once a day.

May 1: What is your favorite party snack food to make, bring, or eat?

Roasted chickpeas. They're vegan, gluten-free, and delicious. While my wife and I do not personally care about the vegan and gluten-free bits, it's no skin off our backs to bring something that is, especially as there are rarely protein options that she can eat due to her capsicum intolerance.

Double the pancake mix and you get Calontiri Fighter Biscuits.

Question, April 25: How many pairs of shoes is too many and how close to that limit are you?

My wife and I each have a discretionary spending account. I can spend as much of that money on shoes as I want. In the unlikely event that my shoes are taking up too much space, then it's on me to spend some of that money on shoe storage or reduce the supply.

    No judgment necessary.

For reference, though, I have three pairs of dress shoes (two black, one brown), three pairs of sneakers (one blue, one pink in serious need of deodorizing, and one laceless), one pair of sandals, one pair of steel-toed boots, and two pairs of medieval boots.

And I'm in the market for a pair of training heels.

Question April 26:  If you could freeze time for 1 hour, what would you do with that hour?

Well, I would be frozen too and unable to act, so...nothing.
