I was trying to sort mine loosely by colour... taking into my bad eyes, and lack of colour knowledge:
I've got more paints than rack space now though, so I need to rethink my process now.
What brand of paint racks are those?
back2base-ix - Out of Australia, not really cheap, but I've got limited desk space, and managed to catch a free-shipping offer.

I received mine yesterday - the ghoulie bag colours were the main reason I went in on an order when I did. I know have more paints than I have room for in my painting racks.
While I hate to complain about free stuffs, I couldn't help but be a little disappointed upon receiving a rock....
It was a pretty big rock though.-

Almost always takes 12 days to Fredericton NB... Usually... I've had as little as 10, and I had one order get held in customs for over a week (I assume - CanadaPost tracking never actually picked it up - all I had was USPS tracking up to entering Canada, and then it showed up at my mailbox 2 weeks later).
While I think you could learn your timing fairly well, there's always some potential for variations. I'd follow others recommendations and rent a PO Box, just to be safe.

Clearly there should be a ReaperCon East so I don't have to make these hard decisions :)
I'd vote for ReaperCon North -- show us Canadians some love. :)

I most likely won't be attending ReaperCon, this year, (or any year in the near future, just too far away) so I'm not really sure exactly how it all works, so this could be completely down the wrong path but:
I think it would be pretty cool to have a big/main prize in the RC Auction that would let you pick the next years ReaperCon Theme (subject to rules/regulations/approvals/etc.etc.etc.).

Someone on the Facebook page was looking for some samurai, so I did a quick search, and ended up with this: http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/Samurai
And for some reason, the 77006 Purple Worm comes up. Doesn't appear to be anything Samurai-ish about it - it's not tagged as Samurai (as far as I can tell).

Hows about some not-borderlands and not-borderlands2 miniatures? The 'iconic' classes - along with the main enemies (not-midget, not-psycho, not-skags, etc).
Oh, and not-Claptrap.-

Good news: I received my package today!!
Not Good new: I have no idea who it's from :( There's no note, or name on the return address.
Overall it's a pretty nice take on a "Young Fire Dragon" - The sealer seams a little tacky, and it stuck to the bubblewrap, some of the paint came off as I was unwrapping it (mostly on the wings, and a spot on the tail), it's not too bad, and definitely fixable. I'll try to snag better pictures once I've had a chance to fill in the blank spots.
Also included was a Night Spectre, a Dragonman Warrior, and one of my favourite sculpts: Vaeloth, Hellborn Paladin.Thank you random Reaper-ite! (Reaperian? Reaperee?)

Wow. These are looking really good.
Also, on two unrelated notes:
- You've either got really tiny hands, or these are much larger than I initially thought.
- Every time I see blue gloves I can't help but think "Two by two, hands of blue".

When it says international backers pays "actual shippage", I'm assuming it will work the same way as Bones 2 - with the shipping automatically calculated when you plug in what you want in the pledge calculator.
But, if early bird core package ships ASAP, and all the extras ship next year - are you paying 2 shipping charges? (it makes sense that you would, but would be nice to know for sure)
ETA: I guess it's kind of a moot point now as the Early Birds are all taken.

So, as you may or may not have seen in the Summer Exchange thread, I painted up a Bathalian for RobinH. I included a note that had most of my thoughts/directions (or lack there of) with it, so I think I'll just post a bunch of pictures, and post part of the note below.
Lots of pictures (and loads more I didn't put here) - I'm pretty happy with how it turned out overall, even if there's a few rough patches (I really should have painted the hand/book BEFORE it was attached to the muchroom).
And now for my novella, for perspective, it's directed toward RobinH (in case you wonder who "you" is):
Spoiler tags because WALL O' TEXT
Originally I had decided on painting up an “77103: Nor'Okk, Ettin†for you - it’s monstrous, pretty cool looking, and has been on my short list (of “20â€) miniatures to paint since I got it. I had brown liner slobbered all over it, and went to look at the inspiration gallery for colour scheme ideas, and saw yours… back to the drawing board.
So, once I had tossed the Ettin back on to the “soon†shelf, I took a couple of days trying to think of something cool for you. I took out a couple of demons, and even went so far as to basecoat one, but I wasn’t really feeling any of them. Then, I started thinking about your request - “have fun with it†- and figured I’d use some of my new Happy Seppuku basing stamps that I picked up from their kickstarter. And once I started rolling with that, I set a scene in my mind, of a dark magician-type standing on a dead lizard/dragon in the underdark, reading a mystical tome being held by a large mushroom.
From there, I picked the miniatures I thought would fit best, I went through all my male caster types, then the female caster types, (yeah, I sort my minis by class (melee/caster), and gender) then generic monsters and didn’t really think any of them would fit, then I looked up to my “soon†shelf and saw the Bathalian, and it clicked. He had a nice staff with a crystal, that I could do up kind of like it was creating light (OSL is way beyond me, but I could make it yellow, like a light…).
From there it was just down to getting the book - so I looked online, and couldn’t find anything for a tutorial on how to go about sculpting a book. I tried anyways, and failed miserably, but I happened to remember from my look through the male wizards that one of them was holding a book that would be pretty close to perfect for this.
As you’ve no doubt recognize the centerpiece of this display, it is “77020: Bathalianâ€, he’s standing on a part of a dragon skeleton that I stamped out of a Happy Seppuku Model Works stamp (Bones Accent).
The Mushrooms are handmade by me - the large mushroom top happens to be exactly the size/shape of one of the inkwells in my cheap little paint palette, the medium mushrooms I made out of little balls of milliput allowed to cure, and then cut in half. All of the mushroom stems are milliput that I rolled out into a string and cut to size. The smallest mushrooms are little nails that I cut in half to remove the points.
The book, and hand holding it, are from another Reaper miniature “77174: Leisynn, Mercenary Mageâ€. Bones is really easy to cut and mold, and I think it worked out fairly well.
Overall, I had a lot of fun with this, for the first time creating a display type base, I am ridiculously happy with how well it turned out. By my standards it’s fantastically well done, easily the best paint job I’ve done so far. I learned a lot, and I really hope you enjoy it.
ETA - as you can see in RobinH's photos (in the Exchange thread) I patched up the black on the base after I took pictures - I didn't notice it was scuffed up before I took the photos.

YAY
I had a nice suprise in todays mail. I just started my vacation and after doing some cleaning and prep work on a mini I decided I should see what bills had arrived. Lo and behold I discovered a nice box nestled amongst those annoying bills and advertising. This is starting my vacation off in the best way possible.
Maylnor has sent me a gorgeous labor of love! I apologize now for the large numbers of pictures I am about to post but I just have to share this excellent sculpt. He also sent a two page note with i,t explaining how he arrived at his choice.
The mushrooms are hand made and I must say I would look at cooking them up for dinner as they are very realistic and the blending on them is well done. The book and it's stand are lovely.. now if I can only interpret the glyphs to see what spell he is casting.
The details on the Bathalin are very well done and easy to see and the color choices are just perfect.
I personally have hestiated doing this sculpt but now that I have one for inspiration I think it will move up my list to the very soon shelf.
Without further ado the pictures..... cause that is what everyone wants to see.
The full package contents! I appreciate the paint and your timing is perfect as I was just prepping a fig and lamenting the fact that I don't have any linen white to use for the robes....now I DO!
An now the sculpt from various ankles..

Maylnor this is excellent basing.. you have the talent so please do more!
YAY!! I'm so glad you like it :D
ETA - I'm also glad it arrived in one piece. The magnets on the bottom are just glued on, you can pop em off with a knife it you want (don't think I mentioned that in the novella I sent along with it), it'll mess the paint, but no one looks at the bottom anyways :P

Ahhhhhh... I don't know if I can handle this. Nervousness, excitement, trepidation, I just don't know what to do with myself. And this is just for the package I sent.

Humidity was actually working for me this time, and I was able to clear coat as soon as I got home from work, and pack it tonight. I plan on dropping it by the post office tomorrow on the way home from work!
I'm a little sad to see it go, it's my best work yet.

Mine is complete - just needs a clear coat.
I'm picking up packaging materials tomorrow, and should be in the mail the day after that.
Packed and ready to go. Hope it survives intact. The most delicate thing I've ever put in the mail....
I took lots of before pics, just in case,
I am so worried for it... I've got more "show-off" pics of it than any other mini I've done (although this is also because, I think it's the best one I've done so far too)
I lied. I got distracted by silly video games and didn't put a clear coat on it, I'll do that tonight, and hopefully package it tomorrow, to be in the mail for Wednesday.

My mini is finished! (I think..
...it might need more work on the eyes...) Base is coming along very nicely - I should be fine getting it in the mail sometime this coming week, Assuming I can find a way to pack it so it won't get demolished in transit.

Bryan you should've started that out with the CNN music and a big blinking red "BREAKING NEWS"
I'm not sure me being wrong counts as news...
So maybe FOXNews music instead?

I'm a pretty bad painter - so I won't even bother trying to pretend I know what I'm talking about.
I'm also pretty bad at colours - so I won't try to help with that either.
However - I'm not bad with the Googles. I've got 3 decent pics below: yellow topaz, citrine, and amber (my favourite, if I were to pick one as a reference photo for painting). Dropping them into the fancy Reaper Colour Picker Tool could yield you with decent results.

When I bought my Dremel, I purchased it with/in a 200+ piece kit and it was in there. It's basically just a clamp with a hooked telescopic pole on it. A quick Google image Search lets me show you a better view of something similar: http://cdn.instructables.com/FJ4/1EZT/FKB3DTMT/FJ41EZTFKB3DTMT.LARGE.jpg
