I am a husband, father, college grad (summa cum laude), gamer (table and video varieties) and all around good guy. I started painting a few years ago (ten years!) and love the hobby. I want to improve my ability to paint flesh tones and NMM. I have given up on my ambition to win a painting award, not for lack of motivation but for time. I don't have the time to dedicate to the hobby I should in order to reach the crystal brush level. There are too many minis to paint. I have settled for, what I have dubbed, high quality table top, and I am okay with that. Never the less, I am always looking to improve my craft and if I ever reach a point where I believe my skill is competitive, I will indeed throw my hat in the ring, but until then, I paint for me! :)
