  1. We're going to rescale what needs it. !)
  2. Hahaha. No, just a cool shape. !)
  3. I think this is the way CAV is supposed to be. Machines drop quickly. Embrace it! Awesome stuff. Good lessons learned. !)
  4. You're imagining things. It's just as awesome as when you first looked at it. !)
  5. Next is Ghost and Charger ($38,000), and after that Duelist and Banshee ($47,000). !)
  6. One More! One More! Well, hopefully a crap-ton more, but One More, for now. !)
  7. Hey, everybody! The latest version of the program is up. CAVFMv1728 Old files will need to be updated, so just use the Batch Update option in the File menu. Let me know if anything is broken.
  8. Glad it was a simple fix. !)
  9. I've checked the .zip file from http://talon-games.com/downloads/CP/CAVFMv1122.zip and confirmed all the files are present and in the proper folders... I don't know how it could have extracted without also extracting those files. You can open up the .zip file you have and see if those files are in the data folder. Maybe the sub folders didn't extract? Or you can download the .zip again and open it and make sure you're getting a proper transfer, though if it was broken, you shouldn't be able to open it at all. Anyway, confirm whether the files are present in the archive, then we can see about either making sure you get the proper archive or figure out why it's not extracting properly...
  10. My GM ran me through this adventure last night, great fun, brutal and hilarious. I recommend a group of 5 in the middle of the range, for maximum pain. !) There is a lot of good grind punctuated by great ancounters, from scary to funny to anoying, and still fun. Descriptions are fantastic and setups are great. This adventure gives a lot of great ideas for other dungeons as well. It shows how with a little, cleaver re-imagining even the mundane can be threatening. [spoilers] Just about every room has somethign wonderful in it, but here are my highlights. Frog Killer (now coined Death Tongue) was awesome. Troll Mummy, another great monster. Suggest having two, if the party is on the high end. The Gibbering Mouther with the Rats was the fight we had the most difficulty with, for some reason. No one got diseased, but it was the longest fight in the adventure. Best part, by far, the Gremlin Mischief. Saving that random chart for future use. Illusionist lost all her hair, I wound up green for two weeks and the Paladin got a potion of lesser healing. Priceless. [/spoilers]
  11. Models in CAVCP/FM which have '(2) in the name are legacy models. They are from an earlier version of CAV and won't be converted into Bones.
  12. Has anyone tested out the latest build of CavFM? Random Unit Generation was added!
  13. You can send issues with the programs directly to me at [email protected], that way we can jump on these as quickly as possible. Can you send me some of the model files you you used to find the calculation issue? I have replicated the bug, but I'm seeing the problem whether weapons are mixed or not and would like to see what you are seeing, to better address the issue. I posted in the other forum on the Lighting Warfare issue, but I'll ask here as well; Please send me the force file showing this problem. Thank you very much, Chris Lewis
  14. I have not been able to replicate this bug. Can you email me at [email protected] and attach your force file, so I can hopefully see exactly what you're seeing? Thank you kindly. P.S.: Anyone who finds an issue with the program, please e-mail me directly at [email protected]
  15. Installed WineBottler this morning then downloaded the latest versions of CAVCP and CAVFM. The instructions for how to use Winebottler are for the most part clear but I ended up reinstalling CP several times to work through the process. The end result of my morning efforts though are that with a simple double-click I now have CP and FM running on my Yosemite Mac. Awesome! You got a link to Winebottler, so I can see exactly what you did?
  16. Neither program is resizable. Glad you got it to run. Are you still going try and figure out the Wine thing?
  17. There is a way you can do this, after all. (Having FM only show models you own) All you need to do is make another folder and unzip the program into this alternate location. Then go in to the Official folder and delete any model you don't have. !)
  18. SHARING FORCES! Be aware, if you share a force with another user, if there are any user made models in your force, FM will not load those files unless you share them as well, and their in the Models/User folder.
  19. Sorting columns may seem like an easy addition, but there is a lot of coding required to get such functionality. I'll add it to the list and see if it would be worth the time and effort. Currently there are no official models that have a Faction of 'Other'. This option was added for users who wanted to make pirate forces, or the like. As far as I know, there is no plan to make specific models for such non-specific groups. In the CAV universe, they use other peoples CAV's. !) So, unless you make some, there will be none to load. Squads can be renamed. Select the squad and click the Rename button. If you change your mind, change the name and leave the field blank, and it will reinstate the default name. We didn't add the renaming of models as is seriously complicated the logic of buying and selling of units. Possible space restraints also made this an ugly proposition on the data cards. Thank you for the feedback. We'd like more of that! Chris
