I really like the idea of the spell cards...I've starting putting together some ideas of my own for demos and such. I also would like to chime in on the data cards for the figs. I really like them..they are actually better than what I expected to see for not raising the prices of blisters. The only thing I think I'd change about them is that I'd rather see artwork on the cards than pics of the figs...but that's just my taste. :) Great job Reaper...everything is coming along quite nicely.

Thank you both for your help. I was one of the lucky ones that purchased the book at Origins, but I wasn't sure if I should go on or wait on the changes of the official book. I shall proceed asap. I've got far to many people who are anxious to get their paws on this game to wait for long anyway. :) Thanks again

hello...I am a recent signup for the BL program and was supposed to be running my first official Demo for my area this week, but am going to have to postpone due to the rulebook issue. What I'm wondering is if there's going to be any problems with my BL status because of not filing the report due to the even not being run (this was to be my first of the 3 required events)?? And is there anything I need to fill out and send in saying it was postponed for the above reason? Thank a ton, looking forward to that official book.

I got a copy of the pre-press book and it is indeed well worth waiting for. Great game Reaper folk.......very fun.... Can't remember who they were but the 2 running the demo I was in did a great job and we all had a lot of fun. :) Even though my skeletons got slaughtered it was still a blast......anyone who picks up this game should enjoy it.

I got my Origins badge and my reservations (ugh) today and I have a couple of questions about the Warlord Events. I have not yet played Warlord and I'm thinking of signing up to run Reapers stuff at my local shop (we don't have a BL member anywhere around here apparently) so I want to attend an event where I can play and learn the system well enough to make my decision, but I don't want to ruin a game for experienced players. So my question basically boils down to: Are the events listed on the Origins calendar geared towards one certain player level or another or can/should I just pick one that fits well to my schedule to attend and not have to worry about ruining a game for more experienced player due to my noobieness and desire to ask many questions? I just know how I feel sometimes when I'm ready to get into a serious game at a serious gaming event and I find a totally new person has shown for something that wasn't geared towards that.... I have read the rules and I feel like I've got a decent grasp on the game it's just that I don't have enough figs to run an army yet (darn budget) and nobody else, locally, has played either (I'm kind of the driving force for Reaper's stuff at the moment).....so I'll have about 0 play experience when I come to the table.
