  1. Well I got my room booked for all the Con dates. I missed last years Con but this one is a go. I can't wait.
  2. I usually play with all the models I paint and these are no exception. These are my Brewster Buffalo US Navy fighters painted up in the colors and markings of Marine squadron VMF-221. The famous squadron at Midway that rushed into the Japanies forces in the begining of the fight knowing that they had crap aircraft and inferior training. Unfortunatly most of them died but their deeds will live on forever. I painted them up for use in Blood Red Skies. Like the real planes, they are also crap in the game but I just had to jump at the opportunity to do my little tribute to them.
  3. Very nice work. I especially love the flesh tones and the job you did with her face.
  4. The stars in the body are mind blowing! It is so well done. I'm going to have to try that idea on something but I doubt it will come out anywhere close to as good as yours.
  5. Wow, what an epic piece! I love they way you did the tower in different shades for the bricks. I'll have to remember to do the same. Like everyone else also said, you did a great job with the blues and aqua on the horse and maiden.
  6. Thanks. I found the white the most difficult to work with. It would either cover too much or too little. You can see where I was having trouble doing the shading transitions.
  7. Thank you. I was so close to painting the armor the same color as the mace but I'm glad I changed my mind at the last second.
  8. It's been a long time since I have last posted but I'm still alive and painting. Here is my human cleric that I painted for use as my character in the Dungeons & Dragons 1st Edition campaign that I'm in. I can't tell you how much fun I'm having playing the edition that I played when I was a kid. Oh the memories.
  9. Great looking skeletons! Now that's what a skeleton horde should look like. It's nice to see people put that amount of work and effort into figures that will be played with. I also love how you have grass hanging from them in some areas. I'm going to have to steal that idea from you.
  10. I am very much looking forward to going to the 2019 ReaperCon. I missed last year's and the year before that I was only able to attend one day. A couple of things in my life interfered with me being able to enjoy my favorite hobbies (model building/painting and gaming) but those things are a thing of the past. A few years ago I stayed at the hotel for four days straight and never stepped out of the building. This year I plan on doing the same except this time I will add the meet and greet to my list of things to do.
  11. Good to hear. I missed last years Con but that won't happen again this year.
  12. Here is a barbarian that I painted up for an older D&D campaign called Dark Sun.
  13. Very nice! Great use of colors. I like how it all blends in.
  14. He was a San Luis Potosi Kingsnake. I had to get rid of the poor guy because I got married and the wife is afraid of snakes.........and spiders, frogs, lizards, bugs and the list goes on and on. He did go to a good home though. A family of 4 Boy Scout brothers now own him.
