I started a new job in November. It's kept me super busy, and I haven't had much time to stop by the fora. I hope you are all doing well. I miss being a semi-regular contributor, but rest assured, I'm not dead, I just prefer kipping on my back.

How do you decide on which one boot?

This is my second to last day at work. I've been at this desk for over 6 years...so much crap to clean up.

11/8: My town had no election yesterday, so no, I didn't vote, but only because we had nothing to vote on (there's a weird election held in March on off years in my town, so I voted back then on a couple referenda).

11/6: Young children don't understand the time change, so my early rising son, woke up at the "normal" time for him, which was 5:30 instead of 6:30 on Sunday.

Oh, I've shared this elsewhere, but y'all are a group I don't think I've mentioned it to. I'm starting a new job on the 13th...I've been at my current job for 9.5 years, so it's a big change for me, but I think it'll be a good one. :)

11/3: BAH HUMBUG! I really hate being made aware of Christmas until the middle of December, before that it's offensive as all get out to me, and then I get supremely irritated when those same [redacted] [redacted] who were shoving the holiday down our throats since August can't be bothered to actually celebrate the 12 days of Christmas: here's a hint: the holiday STARTS on the 25th of December...it ends at the Epiphany on the 6th of January, and if you don't celebrate the whole thing, but shove it in my face for months before hand, I consider you a horrible person worthy only of scorn and ridicule...and the leftover fruitcake that was gifted to me in 1987.

so, is this thread going to be kicked into hyperdrive to hit the 1000 page mark before the next week, or what?

11/1: We had suffered a major wind storm, so trick or treating got postponed until Friday in my town. Our only decoration is a pumpkin, which I was hoping to carve into a jack-o-lantern with my daughter, but the windstorm knocked out power, so we've been lax in our carving...might get a chance to still. I figure jack-o-lanterns can stay out until they start to rot, then the cleanup is toss 'em on the compost pile.

10/30: I'd love a proper Darth Vader costume...I've faked it a couple times with a very decent mask I had when I was a kid; but to get a proper setup would be nice.

10/27: I'm lazy and a curmudgeon, I like Halloween, but I hate decorating.

10/26: No costume at a costume party...yes, I was wearing it.

10/25: From Stephen King's Dark Tower Series, I choose Book 4, Wizard and Glass. A mini series that follows young Roland Deschain and Susan Delgado. I would stay as close to the source as possible, maybe incorporating a bit of the story from Eyes of the Dragon to flesh out some of the backstory a bit further.

10/24: I have a seasonal tradition of complaining about Christmas decorations being out that lasts from July until about December 15th.

10/23: read books, play with the kitties, play with my kiddos, hang out with my wife. Remember all the good things about my life that aren't whatever the fun thing is.

10/20: I had a very light purple that was a reaper sample; I hadn't used it for over a year since receiving it; but when I got my Bones 3 shipment, the first thing I opened was the crypt from the graveyard expansion and the summoning circle was painted with that light purple...so at current, I have nothing unused; well, unless you consider second bottles of several paints I use a lot of (there's a couple bottles of Tamiya XF-22 "RLM Grey" that I have, one opened, the rest wait, because, I use a lot of that grey).

10/18: officially licensed and sanctioned buglips the goblin forum mascot plushie would be amusing.

10/17: I won't be in attendance, but I'm happy for all who are going. Enjoy it well for us all.
