Thanks. The mummy is 77144: Mummy from the first bones kickstarter. It is a really great sculpt with well defined details. It made painting it a lot of fun.

So these were done as speed painting exercises. The goal was to get nice looking, table quality undead in an evenings worth of painting.

A lovely miniature and you've certainly done it justice with the paint job. Great work! Your skin tones are stellar.

The use of purple to shade the red cloak ties it in perfectly with the pants! What a great colour choice. The staff is also really, really nice.

With such a warm welcome, I thought you might like to see a few more pics. I didn't get a shot of this guy before he saw some serious table time, so he has a little wear. He was a blast to paint. Some figs fight you, but this guys was easy. (I even painted the base! Call off the re-education squad!)

Very nice work. Much better than my first attempts. You're off to a great start. -
Thanks! It's nice to know I'm not the only one who does not love basing. Don;t get me wrong, I love the effect that others get with a great base and can appreciate how it elevates a miniature. Howeer, most of my work is destined for the abuses of the tabletop - not the display case.

Stay still, we are sending a re-education team to your address... PS: Welcome, and nice looking mini ;) Ha! Thanks. I'll prepare for re-education.

I think that it is mostly the photography. It doesn't look quite that wierd on the table. It could use a better base... I just hate baseing. :)

After lurking for what seems like forever and enjoying the great work everyone else, I thought I'd post something. A wizard from the first Bones Kickstarter. Also my first attemot at OSL. A big thanks to everyone who has done a WIP for OSL - super helpful!
