  1. Darn...was gonna message you for some ninja'y goodness :-(. Guess I'll have to find one somewhere else.
  2. Melt doesn't carry over to the store. You do, normally get a gift certificate in the swag bag that you can use at the store.
  3. When the sign up for the games goes live, in their descriptions, it will tell you.
  4. They can't be used for other ReaperCons and I believe keeping the poker chips was "frowned upon".
  5. Just a little bit of the glazing on the metal facing the blue skin.
  6. So... question. Wouldn't you have wanted to go with the colors reversed? The darker grey on the top and the lighter coming up from the bottom? Since the bottom half is going for a transparent look it would have more light going through it than the body?
  7. I'd like to add that a lot of the colors used on the inspiration have base undertones and glazes of different colors into the flesh and cloth besides the one you can see. For example, around the knees, they used a red glaze over the flesh tone and what looks like green in the shadows (I would assume it's because of the blue cloth near it). Step out of the comfort zone of "x" flesh midtone, plus "X's" flesh shadow, "X's" highlight, are the only way to make flesh contrast. Experiment and I promise you that you won't ever see skin and cloth the same again.
  8. I would assume it would be dependant on the gender or the size of the melon. I was a pretty big headed baby so it might be cannery melon. Who knows.
  9. Also, who knows, maybe there will be a Little Melons afterwards
  10. Yeah....=( I will miss our random running intos during breakfast. Running into a paper bag stuffed with 20s would definitely help. But right now, priority is having drinks on a Caribbean beach lol.
  11. So, as it gets closer and closer to the date, unexpected expenses keep popping up. Unfortunately, as of right now, it looks like the wife and I won't be making it to Con this year, barring we come into some kind of happy accidental money. We may end up just going to a local con instead, since it's going to be my birthday weekend.
  12. Did you try logging out and logging back in?
  13. There is always doing it between two separate years.
  14. From my understanding of it, the instructors tend to choose the time slots.
  15. I vaguely remember my classes last year costing closer to $40.
  16. I'm guessing vampires AND werewolves. Hence the Blood part and Wolves part.
  17. Aw man. I love the composition, with all the lines and angles! I was kinda hoping the tree was gonna be shaped like an outstretched hand, similar to the position of the necromancer's.
  18. Even with the venue at the hotel, the painting tables will still look about the same. The only difference is that they may not be as cluttered, but people will still have "their spots". From experience though, people tend not to mind sliding down a spot if it doesn't require moving a paint kit, a sculpting kit, a mini case, and a book bag.
  19. I promise that by Friday, you won't even need him. There have been countless people who have said the same things you have. The forumites are such awesome people that it will feel just like home.
  20. Sign up for their Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. They tend to post updates there first before here. Nothing is left because they haven't started registration for classes.
  21. Titanium white (preferably a heavy body acrylic)....best white there is. Scale 75 is a close 2nd. Reaper Dragon White is a distant 3rd.
  22. You could also prime in black, airbrush gray and white directionally, then use a heavy pigmented black for the shadows and heavy body titanium white for the highest highlights. Think of it like this, the more time you spend preparing the miniature for color and tints, the easier it will be to add colors and tints.
