  1. Yeah....blood wolves are looking pretty pimp...
  2. Usually, if they have any extra SWAG bags, they put them in the store for sale AFTER the Con. It's usually a limited number of them and they will sometimes list what COULD be in them. They tend to be a bit different as the Congoers get first dibs and when they run out, they run out.
  3. So you are coming?! Thought you said you probably wouldn't get those days off?
  4. How about "Foothold Digital.....helping secure your digital footprint for the future" or something similar? Playing up the part of the foothold being a secure position, kind of thing.
  5. It's a great triad. Great for metals and anything yellow in general. Even osl.
  6. What about a D.Va logo? It's both pink, cute, and would go well with black and also matches the power button on the shirt.
  7. It's pretty rough at the moment but the idea is that it's a necromancer and a priest dueling. I have to order two more figures to complete it.
  8. I changed the title of this thread so I can keep all my WIP pics for this diorama together. I worked on the other figure that's gonna be in it this afternoon while I had some free time. It's Domar and he is going to be my necromancer in the diorama. I also have to put an order in for two other miniatures that will be a part of this. This is still very much unfinished and only about 4-5 hours of work though.
  9. I don't know why, but on the crack by her right foot, I kinda saw a "branch" and then I started to think "man.....that would be cool if there was a graffiti'ed rose there and the crack was perfectly dissecting it". A juxtapositon of man (urban) vs nature.....
  10. Nope. I'm not even a third of the way done though, but good guess. Im thinking it's the "blue" cloth, but it's more gray than blue in hand. He'sgonna have a lot of OSL if my plan goes correctly.
  11. I started working on something for ReaperCon while I was at a LGS waiting for my wife to finish her master class. I will post some better pics when I get home....
  12. After today's roughly 6 hours, the grand total so far has been about 18 or 19 hours roughly...still have some more to go though. I can honestly say that there is enough details in him that I haven't been bored once yet. @Corporea got to hold him and her reaction was "wow...that's bigger than I thought he would be." But, pics incoming!!! I went outside to get better light for the pics too... Some close ups.... Let me know what y'all think of this crazy journey so far...
  13. I meant "ugly" (it's only base coated) versus the other horns I put several colors into lol.
  14. So, while the wife is at a Banshee master class, I'm sitting in the LGS working on horns.... And ugly.... Turns into... And I'm still working on it, so I'll keep posting pics as I remember to. Sorry for the bad lights btw.
  15. Something like, take blue liner and thin it , then apply it over a small area. With a second fully dry brush, absorb the areas that would be highlights, allowing only the dips and crevices to take the tint. Basically a "controlled ink wash" will help define the shadows and still leave the translucency.
  16. Purple....carnival purple specifically. But any dark purple, when glazed into the shadows of the red will help add more depth.
  17. It's a great first attempt!!!! One thing to keep in mind though when working with a light source, it should be the brightest part when you put it in grayscale. You can see that the face is just about as bright as the fire. Punching up the yellows in the fire and the whites in the hottest center will raise it up.
  18. More work tonight while I'm still in the zone, so I worked on the shoulder pad. Enjoy!
  19. Ty. Been trying to do some new things I learned from the big lizard man and incorporating the lessons I learned from @Corporea and the other instructors from last ReaperCon's flesh and osl classes.
  20. Patience grasshopper. You must learn to run, before you can fly. There will be plenty to be excited about when everything gets announced.
