There is a format called Scramble, or sometimes Best Ball, where everybody hits a shot but then everyone’s next shot is taken from the best option of the first four results. It helps spread the fun when some in the group are indifferent or low-skills golfers.
Haha, I just found out that is what we are playing is a Scramble. Yeah that should make it better. Gives me more time for a beer. LOL :P

You see those pip marks on the right of the picture? They are called "Byangles"
And the B & M are "Bones" and "Metal" and are 1/4inch (6.25mm)

Curious as to why. I've had pretty good luck with that.
Every bottle I bought yellowed and yellowed my miniatures. The first one was fine for a year then yellowed, the second one yellowed within a month so I went looking and even asked the shop owner when this was delivered and he said it was "new last week" and that yellowed a month later too. I figure I've got a rotten run of it and/or some factor I can't figure out or solve is causing this. But I don't like their paints either, they all cloud up after only a short time on the palette. I use a modified jigsaw to shake my paint so they are thoroughly mixed but VJ stuff still does it. I've never had that issue with Reaper stuff, even older paints.
On the third try of VJ sealant I just decided that Reaper makes ones and there are other companies and I'll just go with them. Life's to short to keep trying.

I agree with Doug on this one.
I've had good luck with Minwax Fast-Drying Polyurethane Aerosol, 11.5 ounce, Satin. I found the recommendation on facebook - somewhere - and I've tried it a few times. It seems to be pretty clean. I really only use it for batch paints. Individual ones I hand prime with Reaper brush on. But I learned a long time ago that the photo's I take for Iron Bristle I take without sealant on it. Even matte has a small chance of distorting the coloring and/or lighting. It's happened so many times I just stop putting it on until after the photo's.
And I don't recommend Vallejo Brush on.

Company golf trip in Huntsville on Friday. I'm indifferent about it. Only payed golf twice. I think I'm going to need a few beers. I'm cross between wanting to play well enough to enjoy it and not wanting to play it at all.
And now the new ear of my painting is beginning as I got my Kickstarter pledge in for Core Space. I'm already in the beginning of the saber series of painting and this just adds to it. It will be nice to get back to sitting at my desk... although I think I need to purchase a new chair. I'm seriously considering a SecretLabs gaming chair as I am in the process of saving up to build a gaming PC. Jumping off the console gaming wagon and stepping back into the PC realm.
2019 has been a good year thus far. Lots of changes all for the better.

Got my Titan pledge in the other day! I'm really looking forward to unpacking this beast and painting all the miniatures. Videos to come.

Hasslefree miniatures has a trump one.

So this is completely random: Does any one still play Ultima Online anymore? I decided to look it up and it's free to play and there are still people working on the game and playing it. The server I use to be on WAY back when is still around too.
I was thinking of getting an account started back up for my gaming channel, just for kicks.

So I went in on the Titan pledge for this and we are SUPER close to getting the game in! More to come! I'm so excited. WHO IS READY FOR THIS GAME?!?!?!?

So I don't know the answer but I tried to find it and could not. After looking at them I would conclude they are 1/54 (30mm). But again I'm guessing. I use this website (link below) to determine that.

The best method I've found for myself is to look at miniature and try and do some of the boring bits or quick stuff after work throughout the week then the more difficult stuff I dedicate to the weekend.
During the week it's more about, "Hey you need to paint even if you don't feel like it. Just an hour, get this done." Making it a mandatory minimum of 2 days during the work week has helped keep motivated and spring boards into more. The weekend is pretty free flow; stopping to snack and what not.

I've been saying my Office phone number at the beginning of Voice Mails I leave on customers phones. I wonder if anyone ever appreciates that? I know it gets a little annoying to have to listen to an entire message over again just for the phone number.

OKAY! So, I have not read through the whole just scrolled through and caught some highlights. I like to do that one on long post i'm interested in as it helps me get familiar with the text and therefore I remember it better. Anyway, I'm typing this cause I'm super excited to read through it and really dig in. I've been struggling with this very subject ever since I stepped up my game. I've notice a good uptick in my skill but I still don't have it to a comfortable point where I make a plan of action and do it. I just wing it - pulling from my mental tool box each tool i think will work until it's done - and it has become taxing.
:):):) Thanks, in advance, @Wren

My God! Our service manager said his Saturday appointment was a no show at 9am... GPS shows he didn't even get to the mans house before turning around. So I thought, benefit of the doubt maybe the GPS didn't track it right, but the two time stamps showing him going and turning around are only a minute apart. Someone is lying here.
But nothing will be done once I report it, as usual...

We followed it with two episodes of The Middleman. (So bad... in such a good way.

The Auld Grump
I thought the same.
I watched SPLIT last night. Now I really want to see GLASS.

Wow, just wow! I would give a lot of things and money to be able to say this once in a while. I have so much work backlogged that I could keep myself employed for another 2 or 3 generations. And people just keep adding more too it.
I don't finish jobs so much as I triage priorities.
My job is technically called Traffic and Logistics Coordinator but they call it Customer Care Rep. I receive a problem then delegate it to the correct project manager then double check they took hold of it. After that I process Services for the service manager and do measurement checks on all orders. What I'm saying is my job is very small projects in quick order. My skill comes in how quickly I handle it and let me tell you, the previous guy could not handle it. LOL. I rather enjoy it. Monday being the most busy of all days. It tappers off by Friday... most of the time.

I tell you what, I'm learning SO MUCH teaching someone how to paint. I'm seeing just how much I dont know. Cheese-n-crackers.
On another note. It's 4:26pm and I get off at 5... I've finished everything and I'm bored. LOL.

Work on about 5 or 6 projects at onces... two that I think are complete (and/or I don't want to do anymore on them). And then there is painting silk like fabric and over thinking the process...

The real question is, did you cook bacon in the cast iron first, wipe the grease up onto the sides, then pour the cornbread batter over the still-warm grease?
Many cornbread recipes are good, some are even AS good, but I still haven't found any that actually beat Jiffy-in-a-bacon-pan.
I did not use bacon no, but that is because I don't eat pork. I used Irish butter stick and rubbed it all of the pan. :) Super good!

Yes indeed... I think I have new addiction. In a bowl with some almond milk. :)
