  1. Seek and Ye shall find: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/56800-cav-scale-reference-gallery-pic-heavy/?p=948379 :-)
  2. Very nice indeed! Thanks for sharing!
  3. Actually...I'd like to change my earlier vote and concur with Mastergunz for the "final" versions of the initial 8. I would suspect the data cards in the back of the preview are indeed beta as the new look cards CAV BOSS has given us for the Dictator B (605) and Halberd (761) are different TVPs than what's in the preview book (743 and 719 respectively). I didn't cross check SAs, weapons, etc.
  4. Thanks for doing this WIP Orcus Blackweather. Curious what did you use to prime the figures?
  5. Hey Dr. Bedlam...if you look in the pinned "Friday Feature" thread (http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/57931-cav-so-friday-feature-master-link-page/) CAVBOSS put links to the other Friday Feature threads. There are a couple of data cards in each thread.
  6. Hmmm...so many to choose from! We already have: Dictator-B Starhawk V Starhawk VI Halberd Tyrant Despot Tsuiseki Kraken My vote is for the Wight and the Assassin! Thanks CAVBOSS!!
  7. Thanks CAVBOSS. I'll fiddle with it and see what I decide to do. Where did you place the penny? I did cut down the Bones base on one of my Wights and it should fit in the new base...with the trailing leg hanging back.
  8. While I don't mind the running pose, I really like what you did with this. May have to do something similar just to "mix it up a bit". Thanks for sharing!
  9. Hahahahaha! One of my Specters has two left arms! Already emailed [email protected] and the great folks at Reaper are already on it!!
  10. Just got my box delivered and opened. Like Blackhawk, first BSR I opened was the Wight. The bases to these first eight are going to be a project in and of themselves. Thinking I might just go with metal washers and paint lines on the side to denote the front...or something. While the BSRs are very lightweight (shockingly so in fact), I still foresee issues on any sort of sloping terrain during game play as they are still "top heavy". I'll have to play with it some. Nonetheless, VERY excited to have them here. I have four other projects to finish for AdeptiCon (www.adepticon.org) in March, so any work on these will likely be late this month or into January.
  11. Awesome CAVBOSS! Love the art and background on paint. Will we be able to download these new cards in pdf? Thanks!
  12. 1 BCT, 1st Cavalry Thogrid Hey Watchman...thanks for doing this. Actually though, I'm not doing this unit. I was just asking CAV Boss a question. Thanks!
  13. Thanks Girot! This will be awesome!
  14. Nice! Where could one obtain such a list?
  15. VERY nice! And I can read it! So we're looking at about 6 cards on an 8.5 x 11" sheet of paper?
  16. Thanks. They don't seem easily available, but I'll keep looking. I just found a set of all four published books (JoR1 & 2, CAV1 and The Big Dance) on eBay. Should be to my door on Monday...just in time to take on a business trip for reading material. Looks like the same seller just listed another set: http://www.ebay.com/itm/CAV-Miniatures-Game-Bundle-83-80-Value-4-Titles-Reaper-Miniatures/161438159092?_trksid=p2047675.c100011.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D333008%26algo%3DRIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D25880%26meid%3D87613a7cb0724774871ff4a44899ddb6%26pid%3D100011%26prg%3D10819%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D10%26sd%3D161419653982 Here is the link to the Mil Net site to download Shards and War for Sale: http://www.mil-net.net/
  17. Is there any mention anywhere of unit color schemes for the 42nd (Black Watch)? Or...would good old desert camo work just the same? Thanks!
  18. Cool! Any "history" to go along with these new bits of iconography?
  19. Roger that! Hooah! God Speed and keep them safe!
  20. Total CAV n00b here. I'm thinking I'll do my Terrans as 42nd Legion (Black Watch). Have no idea if someone else is also doing 42d. ??
  21. Kansas City area (Kansas side) Total n00b to CAV. Looked at the CAV: SO KS on a whim...$300 later I'm in for 2 core sets (one an EB) and a slew of extras and add ons. Found a "package" deal on eBay for CAV1 and 2 books for the "fluff". Frankly, that's what nailed me for the KS. Downloaded "Heavy Words" from the Mil Net site and I couldn't stop reading it! Love the fluff.
