With Bones black being able to capture small detail better, a bunch of fey creatures would be lovely.

Especially the tiny fey like pixies or quicklings would be great to have a few of, for encounters and summons.

But human sized fey are potentially very interesting as well, with their creative and unusual clothes and body features.

and a ginat sized Queen of the Fey with huge butterfly wings on par with all the demon lords and arch angels!

  2. A full on "Middle East" expansion (as per Dreadmere and the like). With all kinds of monsters from Arabian and Persian mythology and a good range of human figures. There's so much more then just belly dancers and Aladdin/Sinbad type charter options. They weren't all half naked. They actually had heavy armored cavalry comparable to European knights back then too!

Also a tasteful/respectful expansion for sub-Saharan Africa would be nice too (ie. not just a bunch of "jungle bunnies" and brute savages). Ethiopia and the Ghana Empire might be good sources of inspiration.

Maybe one for East Asia too but that's a little less interesting to me personally.

  3. Hi everybody! I was thinking about an old AD&D model where the players are picked up by a roc and dropped off in it's nest at the top of a mountain. They then have to work their way down it's slope. I can't remember what it was called though and google search isn't helping me find it. Does anybody else remember this and know what it was called?

  4. I like all the bandits from Bone 3 and Bones 4 but would like to see a bit more diversity. Much as with doing math, lifting heavy objects, and thinking for oneself, ovaries obviously makes one incapable of banditry. This being a fantasy line however maybe we could get some female bandits? Possibly ones not just ones relegated to using bows or being healers?

Cinder was the red to go with Stormwing, Blightfang, Ebonwrath, and Deathsleet.    T'Raukzul (77585) is larger by at least a third than the others, and will be priced at $49.99 when he comes out next week.  Argent, too, is going to be incredibly large and probably not at this price point.

Natharax (77279) and Marthrangul (77542) are also the $29.99 priced dragons, I'm not sure if they would fit in as any.

Verocithrax is the same price too, though he's an undead....)

True but with Argent being the new Silver, at around the same size as T'Raukzul, it seems to me that Reaper decided to upscale that tier of dragons. Kind of like they did with the old Frost and Fire Giants.

  6. We have models for all of the chromatic dragon types. There's also Reaper's versions of a copper, a silver, and some descent stand ins for a brass.

    Red (T'Raukzul #unknown)

    Blue (Stormwing 77578)

    Green (Blightfang 77323)

    Black (Ebonwrath 77102)

White (Deathsleet 77110) Though I prefer 77109 as a smaller option.

    Gold ???

    Silver (Argent #unknown)

    Bronze ???

    Copper (Kyphrixis 77565)

Brass (77545 is a reasonable stand in) Though I prefer 77329 as a smaller option.

None of the current dragons, in the $29.99 size range, have an aquatic feel to them. So there's really no good stand ins for a bronze dragon. What's really missing from the mix (in my opinion) is an aquatic themed bronze dragon option around the size of Stormwing (77578).

  7. A female Chimera (slightly small and without a mane) or alternately variant Chimeras. Such as...

Lynx Chimera, with white dragon head/wings, and a white goat's head.

Panther Chimera, with black dragon head/wings, and a black goat's head.

Leopard Chimera, with a green dragon head/wings, and a brown goat's head.

Tiger Chimera, with red dragon head/wings, and an auburn goat's head.

    PS. Also a Dragonne.

  8. I'd also really like to see some of the missing Planar beings. Such as...

    - A giant sized Angel on the same size scale as all the big demons lords and arch-devils available.

    - More varied Angels in general.

    - Some Fey-like Outsiders (Eladrin, Azats, etc.). Including a giant, butterfly-winged, "Queen of the Fey" type.

    - A large , winged, "Horned Devil" with a spiked chain.

    - A "Barbed Devil".

    - Imps, Quaits, Cerubs, etc.

    - A Medium Earth Elemental.

    - A Medium Water Elemental.

Now that there will be a set of three Stone Giants coming out in Bones 4 I'd really like to complete my giants collection. Which would mean...

    - Three Storm Giants (including an up-sized version of 77163) and an animal companion (something aquatic?).

    - Three Cloud Giants (including an up-sized version of 77162) and an animal companion (giant eagle?).

    - A Female Hill Giant.

Other Humanoids below that which I'd like to see would be...

    - Female Hellborn Armored Warrior type and Male Hellborn Rogue type.

    - More varied Orcs (both in class and gender).

    - More female and male Hobgoblins in general.

    - More varied Lizard-folk.

As for Humans there's still a lot that I feel is missing...

    - Tasteful African inspired figures. Not just a bunch of crude half naked savages.

    - "Middle Eastern" style figures of all different classes. Including more then generic belly dancer types btw.

    - Human Druids. I can't think of a single Bones figure that would make for a decent Human Druid.

    - Lower end Human Warriors, of both genders, in armors other then full plate. Like full chain for example.

Full plate covered a blip in time in one corner of the world. Lamellar was used across the breadth of the Old World over thousands of years. Yet we don't have a single figure in Lamellar. :/

  9. Hello. Before the Kickstarter ended I was using the Pledge Calculator to figure out how much money I needed to pledge. It came to $230 and some change. So I rounded up to $231 and figured I was set. Sometime after the Kickstarter finished the price went up. It now says I owe 16 cents and I can't seem to figure out how to pay it? Does anybody know how to fix that?

  10. People of both sexes in lamellar armor (splint mail). It was used for thousands of years (tens of thousands of years if include the idea of mythical, Conan style, lost civilizations) all across the Old World. From North Africa to the depths of Siberia and everywhere in between.

In the history of armor full plate was a brief afterthought, in one corner of the world, that was pretty much obsolete as soon as it was invented. Yet for some reason full plate has been fetishized to the point that it's all we ever see on minis.

Stylistically it would be nice to have more warrior options then shirtless barbarians and knights from right at the very end of the medieval period. Full plate doesn't even exist in most of my settings (generally based on the periods between 1,200 BC to 1,066 AD for the most part). Which seriously limits my warriors options.

The same applies for chain mail and scale armor. Some Norman style knights would be a nice change of pace. Even in generic D&D worlds they can be used as lower level warriors. Not everyone you meet is going to be a high level PC.

I'd love to see Vikings and a Longship to go with them.

I'd also like to see a Kug-fu fighting set of martial art miniatures.

I'd love to see Arabs & Persians and a Dhow to go with them.

With a range of classes therein. From armored warriors to spell casters.

  12. I would love to see a Cog, Dhow, and Junk (Western/Atlantic Ocean, Southern/Indian Ocean, and Eastern/Pacific Ocean) of comparable sizes (one main deck/hold, and a quarterdeck, at least 4 in wide and 12 in long). That would cover sailing ships for all the major Old World cultural regions of the same general time period (Medieval tech level).

Ya... I know that's a picture of a Carrack (Nau). I suppose a Carrack, Caravel, and Junk could work too if you want to go more modern (Renaissance Era).
