I absolutely agree. I've quarantined myself from Facebook for the time being. I can't fix all the misinformation, and I don't have the disposition to have continual arguments. I'm just working, and then going home to my family. Although the memes about healthcare workers stripping in the driveway is certainly true. Lol. My neighbors are lucky that I park in the garage. Y'all stay safe out there. Stay home, wash your hands, love your family. We'll get to the other side of this.

Thanks! She's 75mm, so it makes it easier.

Meh. Nurses don't get to be off for pandemics. Rude. On the plus side, my drive to work is waaaaay easier with no traffic! Glad everyone else is getting a chance to hobby! I look forward to the coronavirus dioramas!

I work 12 hour shifts an hour away from home, so the crock pot is my best friend. Here's a few of my favorites. Nacho chicken Chicken thighs or breasts Can of Rotel Packet of taco seasoning. Low for 4 hours, then just let it stay on keep warm. Shred it up, put it on tacos. Green Chile pork Pork roast Jar of green salsa 4 oz can of green chilies Chopped onion Handful of cilantro Put the onion in the bottom, pork loin on top. Pour everything else on top. 6 hours on low, keep warm the rest of the day. Shred it up, put it on tacos. (See a theme?) Chicken tortilla soup Shredded chicken (I buy a rotisserie chicken and shred it up) Can of corn Can of beans (I use one pinto and one black) Can of Rotel Can of green chiles Chopped onion 6 cups of chicken broth Taco seasoning (cumin, chili powder) Cilantro Mix it all up, just has to get warm. Serve it over cheese and tortilla chips with avocado. Those are our faves. I have more if requested. Lol

So, I'm starting on my Reapercon Sophie entry. I've had her a long time, and decided to finally paint her up. I can't post a lot of pictures here, but I edited this one...so it should be okay. Check out more on my blog! I'm working on a lot of skin here, so I'm trying for those buttery smooth blends. I'd love to hear what y'all think!

It's rough. There's no other way to slice it. You have to find your own normal, and then you adapt it to your baby. Mine is 2 (two!!! How did that happen?!), and there are days that I still have to remember to breathe. I agree with redambrosia, you have to find a happy medium with both of you helping each other. It can't get better if you can't lean on each other. Just remember that it's all a season. And you will miss some of it, and be thankful some of it is over. Just smile, love them both, and y'all can make it through!

Happy Happy Birthday Andy!!! I hope it's awesome, and you spend it surrounded by people you love!

Reapers snow Shadow is a white with a bit of blue in it. Might be the color you're looking for. I think, as a proof of concept, you've nailed it! Now you just have to fine tune the colors! Awesome work.

I use gw 'ardcoat. Put on a layer. Let dry. Repeat as necessary. Seals it up and smooths it over. -
You forgot the complaining. We are warmed by the fury of our complaining (whining) about how cold 40 degrees is with the humidity! But I am a bathtub queen. Can't get warm without hot water. And fuzzy socks. Always fuzzy socks.

Y'all are sweet! He was super fun!

Thanks y'all! She was fun! @72moonglum, I have the bones version too, but the detail was a little soft. In metal, she's nice and crisp.

Thanks! He has tons of personality!

I've never had a problem finding the judges, and they've always been super cool about giving feedback. Even if you just find them on artist's row. Now, I'm not a shy introvert, so I don't have a problem sidling up to strangers in crowded rooms to talk about small people. That may be the limiting factor.

GBO has a die named, "the Die of PC Slaying". It's only brought out for special occasions.

The store owner. Nobody marries the guy that leaves you in the corner instead of introducing you to the hobby.

Boredom at a hobby shop is what led me to mini painting. I was the girl that came with her boyfriend, languishing in boredom when the store owner (GBO) came over and asked me if I was having a good time. Lol. He asked me if I had ever painted, and showed me his painting desk backlog. 13 years of marriage (and at least 4 armies later), I'm the painter and player, and we enjoy nerd hobbies together!

I did some (very minor) painting, and a lot of cooking! Lumpia, chicken stock, homemade sausages, and made the rest of the weekly meal plan. Then I built with Duplos until the Tiny Overlord said we had to be Mommy Buzz Lightyear and Baby Buzz Lightyear and fly all over the house. No regrets.
