Plus, it’s just one figure. If the inclusion of one figure makes someone not buy an expansion then idk how anyone pleases that discerning a palette.

Agreed. I for one could not stand the Dino-Ninjas in Bones 5. Especially since there was a lack of Human ninjas.  I still  bought  and enjoyed the Daiymo expansion 🙂

PS anyone want some Free Dino Ninjas???

Yeah while the lighthouse art is awesome and I may buy it I would have to say most of these aweful "fan" add ons for the last few years are trash.

I don't know what a flumph is and do not care.

It's inclusion is from what seems to be a bunch of people having a tantrum somewhere I guess?  That is not a good reason to incorporate things. I feel a headache coming on.

Anyway I like the gods and adventurers from hair but that terrain is just as bad as I feared it would be.  The scarab people are interesting though leaving me more intrigued by this set than I thought.

The dungeon denizens is essentially a fan favorites expansion which means it is a mix of oddball stuff and some interesting things.  Sadly it is a hard no from me.  Other than the bathalian and wyverns I either already have a pile of these or just would toss it in a box of junk for my daughter to destroy.

Yea The flumph has been a part of D&D since its introduction in Field Folio in 1981. Yet despite  being around for 5 editions and over 40 years it is woefully underrepresented. Some of us do know what it is and are excited to finally get one in bones after we have gotten a pile of monsters  that we toss into a box of junk

I mentioned during yesterday's twitch stream that I'd like to see Reaper do smaller, more focused Kickstarters going forward, and Ed replied back that's the direction they want to go as well.  Sadly, he did not confirm (nor deny) that could mean a Chronoscope KS.

Wow I missed yesterday but I feel 100% same way... thx for Asking!

  6. Id like to see more Female monsters. Not nymphs/Sirens or half nekkid Succubi (my apologies to Sophi) but run of the mill Monster manual 1 typers that everyone uses but there is a lack of female monsters goblins/orcs/Trolls/minotaurs/undead etc. I have 6000 minis but I'm always searching when it comes to female. There are SOME but just not enough variety and choices... and please NO CHAINMAIL BIKINIS need apply.

Make an expansions of this and Id by 10.

BTW after posting I search for Bones and females Giants and Half orcs DO show a fair number .... so OK those two races are represented

I'll end up doubling or tripling that post-KS in the PM.  I

That's what I would like to see.... Reaper just keep adding Stretch Goals as people add funds to Pledge manager I think a lot of backers are holding off and we could attract a lot of new backers in that time. I'm sure there are reasons why they cant but I can dream.

That's reminding me of that detective bit from Animaniacs:

    Detective Yakko:  "Dust for prints!"

Dot, holding Prince in her arms:  "I found Prince!"

Detective Yakko:  "No, no!  FINGER prints!"

    Prince:  (grins creepily at Dot)

Dot:  "I don't think so!"  (throws Prince off-screen)

seriously?  pretty far even for that show....

  9. So To date Bones kickstarters have made $16.7 Million dollars so take anything I say with a grain of salt. I am in NO position to explain why Bones 6 is "under performing " at over 1M. But Yet I keep doing it. Why I want MORE. so here is a list of some of the reasons proffered so far:

    Poor overall economic shape

    huge piles of unpainted bones

    competition from 3D printers

    Competition across marketplace

    5 Core break up

    2 years to shipping

    ROW shipping uncertainty

    Not enough females models

    not enough basic starter models

    not enough unique models

    Lack of Dragons

I dunno but Ron did it...

And I'm sure I have missed another dozen.....

Truth is it might be a little of all,  some or none. OR it just might be my expectations. Its not a bad set of minis and at a great price. I hope it progresses and gets  bigger. BUT  for me I'm kinda done with playing Armchair  QB.  Reaper is full of CPA's that that have done this time and time again. They  will deliver, it will be economical and completed with Level 10 customer satisfaction. That works even if I get a small pile than Bones 1-5.

Technically, they've already broken it with the Ants.

If I remember right, they said they weren't going to do it with Bones 5, then caved in and did it, but bundled a bunch of stuff together, like all the elves, most of the monsters, etc.

My guess is that they will only break out the things they know they will sell a thousand or more add ons of.  I think Wolf Pack will be broken out, though I'm not sure if the Warg will be included , or left in the core set like the Queen bee. I'm hoping the Town Guard will be broken out as well.

Yea They said they would take it on more of a case by case  basis. My 2 cents. The argument against breaking it up seem to me to be too much floor space during fulfillment. Not to be rude but We are heading to a lot less add-ons/Expansions/encounters... is that really a problem compared to last time?

  11. Yeah I have been Wave 1 the last 3 times and twice I was delayed on a missing item. ( since I usually buy 1 of everything its a guarantee I would be delayed by 1 item lacking) I will admit that there has to be an impact of bones core exhaustion as so many people did pledge B5, There are other reasons as well for the apparent lag, but no need to re-litigate.  I am still positive that We will all get a mountain of plastic at a great price! just trying to be positive

I mean, we currently have 6,700 with 17 days to go. So not quite half way done timewise, and we need 8,300 backers. That averages out to... oof, 489 people per day? Yikes.

    Bones 5 had 18,587.

    Bones 4 had 16,200.

It's doable. Just going to take a lot of people pulling the trigger that haven't been so far.

But Bones 4 had over 10k at the this point. The difference I HOPE is the lack of waves in Bones 6. Instead of people locking in to get an earlier wave, there MAY be a heck of a lot that just told KS to give them a 48 hour reminder. Im sticking to this belief  and that this influx will get us many many add on in the last two days. Hey its a reasonable belief!

They sortof did this for Bones V but in a less official way. A few new items ended up in the pledge manager after the Kickstarter ended. There is probably a limit to how much they want to do, but it could happen I think.

Yea you don't want to do this to be too official or you hurt the rush that happens at the last 48 hours. But a few add-ons or encounters   we didnt get to might be ideal.

I like that this forum community seems to stay (mostly) positive. Moreover, I like that there seems to be a concerted effort to find productive solutions. It feels rare. Perhaps I’ve just been hanging out in the wrong forums.

While I’m personally thrilled with the core set, I think an initial offering of some big add-on could have driven more early pledges. Even one with a distant stretch goal. Like “here’s the core, and at US$1million we’ll unlock this gargantuan Gnomish Zeppelin!” Give backers an immediate big ticket item to want, they’ll talk their friends into pledging.

I like the suspense of hidden goals, but the carrot/stick thing only works if the donkey can see the carrot.

Yes, I realize I am the donkey in this analogy. Hee-haw, y’all.

Yea, Its strange KS. Most people around her love Reaper ... Cuz they have such great customer service over years... Hell Deacades really. But, there is a fair bit of concern as this Kickstarter doesn't seem to be living up to the incredible standards being set by Bones 1-5 and we all want it to be so. THAT BEING SAID... the core set AS IS  is a great deal with phenomenal value and I'm all over. I have a nice budget allocated for this KS and frankly if we dont have as many add-ons as I would like I will certainly double up on the core.

  15. Just a thought. Could they extend the Stretch Goals past April 30? YES I know KS will be done and pledges will be collected BUT the RPM will just be getting started.  Correct me if I'm wrong, please..... They allow for late pledges in the past. Can they not allow for new pledges? They have added a few items post campaign in the past, can they not just continue thru the months of RPM? If given 6 more months to cough up some money, I'd be more obliged and as value increases slowly then those who want more value will have an opportunity to buy in and this increasing more value.   Consider it Plan B?

I'm sure there are logistical reasons why they can not but Id be happy to keep it going and I pitch in more money every month as models were added....

    2 Cents,
