  1. That looks very cool. Great work. The amount of work though... *shudders*
  2. Very nice. Love the cape and good work on the OSL. Not only were you missing a hand, but his staff too!
  3. The older Swarmlord from Games Workshop is a classic difficult model to assemble and keep together. It has a lot of Edward Scissorhands going on with all the armswords that are metal and don't stay in very well. Mine always has at least one armsword popped off at any given time. I've really become partial to metal minis, or Bones, that are only 1-3 pieces. So much easier, less time consuming and far less frustrating.
  4. Indeed, you are correct. I didn't realize it. Nothing a quick wash can't fix!
  5. The freehand is supposed to be of a nebula. It's the first freehand I attempted and I think it worked out pretty well as long as I preface with the proclamation that it's supposed to be a nebula
  6. In the spirit of Halloween: Gauntfield, Scarecrow. You're welcome.
  7. What a great idea! I'm totally in on this.
  8. I don't normally brag, but I think I have a good chance at winning this thread with my first painted mini. Behold:
  9. The Metal N Alchemy sets are excellent, by the way. The best metallics I have used.
  10. This is an easy question to answer. Obviously, what this cube needs is Lady Gaga.
  11. One of my favorite undead characters from Reaper is Gauntfield, Scarecrow. He's got a lot of character.
  12. I'm not sure what this guy's official name is and my google-fu has failed me. He's from the Heroes and Villains option in the Bones II KS.
  13. I was going for a swampy base. It kind of worked and it kind of didn't. I attached the frog demon to the base before working on the basing and that was probably a mistake. I had a heck of a time getting the water effects to get underneath his feet without getting it all over the place. I tried to hide some of the mistakes with bushes 'n stuff
  14. I can't decide if I regret putting the summoning circle on the base or not...
  15. It looks like a zombified Scottie Pippen about to dunk on someone.
  16. Paint one mini per day on average. Unlike Citrine, I don't take vacations. Additionally, I don't get sick and I always work holidays, so I think I got this.
  17. Nice! You know what I would like to have seen here? The Eye Beast painted as a private eye.
  18. Man... I have a Nikon D5100, a nice light box, Hangar 18 backdrops, tripod: the whole shebang; yet, Cash and Slash (great names for a morning radio duo, btw) still have much better pictures than mine. Obviously, I don't know what the heck I'm doing. I need to get practicing! Thanks for the advice.
