fulfilling Grimlight: Tiny magnet-controlled lights for miniatures
LionMyth replied to SamuraiJack's topic in Kickstarter
Grimlight: Tiny magnet-controlled lights for miniatures These would be great with Reapers clear miniatures. -
with more and more PVC models (like CMON's A Song of Ice & Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game that, as a fan of Game of Thrones, I just have to have)... this topic seems even more pertinent today I'd love for Reaper to produce a reasonably priced spray on primer especially for PVC / Bones ... Army Painter seems the best bet now, but it's $15 a can.

Talae's Five Year Old Makes a Story with Painted Minis
LionMyth replied to Talae's topic in Show Off: Painting
awesome .... I had a bunch of goblins laying about and little girl started playing some such game with them ... not violent; like I'd have had them at war ... I think they were at picnic or circus or some such ... I guess their swords were for spreading peanut butter and jelly ... What are little boys made of? Snips and snails And puppy-dogs' tails That's what little boys are made of What are little girls made of? Sugar and spice And everything nice (or all things nice) That's what little girls are made of -

Esme "Granny" Weatherwax in a ball gown, from Micro Art Studio
LionMyth replied to Pingo's topic in Show Off: Painting
I posted some comment here ... and it was liked (as a courtesy I'm guessing as my comment was nothing brilliant) ... the like did get me to click back to this piece. I really love Granny. Please post how you did the dress. It's awesome. I also like the way you did the face. I'm all about blending for realism, but I love the way you did this piece. I'm going to have to play with this technique. Again, awesome.- 34 replies

it's the holidays ... I'm amazed what a great job all involved do of moving packages from point A to point B ... just posting this for information - my dragon was labeled, shipped and arrived at NTX facility all on the 19th and ended up in Portland on the 25th ... considering the massive amount of mail and packages being moved, that's not bad USPS - "The package is delayed and will not be delivered by the expected delivery date. An updated delivery date will be provided when available. Your item arrived at our USPS destination facility in PORTLAND, OR 97218 on December 25, 2015 at 7:28 am. The item is currently in transit to the destination." It's a nice and realistic note. I like knowing that the package isn't lost somewhere in the Congo. I'm in no hurry and am a firm believer that one should put things in the mail no later than the first week of December or expect delays. I suspect that the dragon will be delivered Monday. ... and it'll feel a bit like Christmas.

aahhhh .... a large studio I'd love a huge warehouse / barn dedicated to hobby type stuff ... it'd have a clear tube all the way around and throughout with a train ... and a wood shop ... and welding area ... and painting area ... photo studio ... stage for musicians ... door connected to green house ... and and and ....

twas the day before Christmas and my Naughty and Nice are "out for delivery" ... Merry Christmas!

No. Reaper does not make public sales information. Ok. But I bet (like Trump would say about anything and everything) it was a HUGE success.

As I am far less am a far less prolific painter than everyone here, getting two of the same paints doesn't work for me. If I wasn't a troll living under a bridge, I'd have no problem giving it away. As is, I'll probably end up giving it to a stranger if I get duplicate. Not that that's terrible. It is kinda weird carrying paint in your pocket when you go to the game store. "Honest, they don't even sell this mixture," he said as the cops pushed him into the back of the cruiser. I do appreciate the paints (sincere thanks Reaper) and, after getting a few, switching all my future paint purchases to Reapers line of paint becomes almost a given. I'll have to see how they mix with the Vallejo I already have. Krampus! Though I recall seeing him, I didn't recognize the miniature as Krampus. Looks like another for the wish list. That the miniature is designated "50207: Krampus ($7.49) Jason Wiebe" should have clued me in, hunnh? More often than not I'm just looking at the pictures.

Will Reaper announce how many dragons sold or some such about success of 12 Days?
