  1. Morning all

The coffee is... well, not hot anymore. And thankfully I have enough grounds to get through today. Need to remembe3r to bring in more tomorrow...

Never did muster the energy to paint last night. Tonight for sure... Gotta get it done. Didn't sleep much last night either, but I did come up with a solution to a problem I was having with the temple. Let's see if I can't get it implemented tonight...

Also, getting to work this morning the office door lock was broken. The key just spun all around without catching on anything. I feel like it's an omen. The locksmith arrived quickly though..

Sounds rough. Hope you have a good week.

  2. Hi, Reaper! Haven't contributed in a long while, which I apologise for. Last year, I purchased a box of Mantic skellies and never really did anything with them after assembling them. Recently, I decided to start playing Kings of War, and found these beautiful models languishing in one of my bits boxes. I've also acquired a box of Mantic's werewolves, which seemed like they could be fun to paint up. I also have the GW Start Collecting! Skeleton Horde coming later this May, which should be fun. So, here are some pictures!

I added a bit from the Empire State Troops kit for the leader's crown. I also attempted some very basic freehand on the shields, which I will add some detail to when I finish the unit. This unit was painted mainly with washes, which was fun.

One of the werewolves. This is the first shade layer, which was a mix of Panzer Aces Shadows Flesh and Flesh Base.

Just spilled a pot of Nuln Oil, which ruined one of my favorite shirts and almost emptied the pot.  <_<

If the paint isn't dry yet you might be able to wash it out.

I did just that, and most of it washed off. However, the outlines of the spill haven't, and thus I have a shirt which looks like it has a face on it.

Is it shaped like Elvis?  Cause you can totally make bank on that...

If only. It looks like there's a cartoon ghost in there, which is not necessarily the best fashion choice.
