[Another way of using Liquid Green Stuff]

I found this interesting technique on YouTube, and I had some liquid greenstuff lying around with no purpose and I tried this technique on one of the cultists from Dark Vengeance, since they're cheap and easy to replace. The technique worked marvellously, giving the cultist this filthy look which suits the mini quite well. I'll upload pictures of the mini tomorrow when I have more time.

Narthrax looks gorgeous. I suggest that you thin your paints and use some washes and you'll be off to a great start.

I find the Vallejo Game Colour White has a high density, compared to the Model Colour White. I've never airbrushed before, so I can't say anything about that.

- Finish up the Bones Valkyrie. 

- Assemble all of the GW Dark elf crossbowmen.

- Get one of the Bretonnian knights assembled and primed.

I would recommend the Reaper Warm Browns Triad for the leather, but it depends what paint brand you're using. Citadel Dryad Bark with an Agrax Earthshade wash and a lighter brown for the highlight is another alternative.  Their bows should be a bit difficult, and I suggest you work your way up from a dark blue to a pure white with layering and highlights. I hope this helped!

I've been slowly amassing a Dark Elf army to use as a Kings of War/ 9th Age army, and got a friend in it too. Also asked Mantic if they could get my FLGS to stock Mantic Products.

 

@TheAuldGrump:  Is the miniature of the Elf General playing chess still for sale? I looked at their website and it wasn't available.

Yes, I'm collecting the older GW dark elves. Mantic elves look too thin, IMO.
