    Gragg Elfslayer - Reaper 02431

One of my son's favorite characters he plays. This is Njorak the half orc barbarian turned assassin.
  2. Turning Goldar into a half-orc, this particular one is the Bones version. I hate missing mold lines but still works for throwing on the table. I find myself putting red on a lot of my half-orcs and orcs because, you know, red makes you go faster.
  3. When I asked my wife what color she wanted her character Drok's pants, she wisecrackingly said "gold with green polka dots", well fine she got them.

Imrijka the Inquisitor - Reaper 60046, Bones 89017

The good part is, the hat actually comes separate on the metal version. The bad part is the bow arm also comes separate and has to be attached.

    Rogan, half-orc thief - Reaper 03278, Bones 77224

Thank you, It is one of my favorite color blends I managed to pull off. I like the combo of the purple cloak and orange-ish tan armor

    Gragg Elfslayer - Reaper 02431

Thank you very much, It's different shades of metallics from the Games Workshop and Citadel lines.
  7. One of my wife's characters. The mini is from Privateer Press, Hordes Trollblood line 71060 (Grissel Bloodsong, Marshal of the Kriels).

Niolor the Troll-kin 71060 (Privateer Press)

Thank you so much. This was actually my first attempt at tartan. There is actually 5 colors in the pattern, it just didn't show up better in the pics. I've just got a jerry-rigged "photo box" so my lighting is iffy.

    Hackmaster/Ral Partha Hobgoblins-lots of pictures

I'm so happy someone else remembers the blue-nose bit from the old hobgoblin entries! Great work.
  10. With Halloween coming up, I got to thinking and asked this elsewhere. What non-dragon type figure have you put down on the table during a game and your players just threw up there hands in fear saying "Nope!" Please feel free to show us your picture. Here's mine - The 1st level group passed through a mystic veil/portal and land in piles of bones in darkness. I had the lights low, pretty much illuminating the table with candles and a pale downlit moon (a flashlight with intentional low batteries for a dull yellow glow) spotlighting the figure.

14011 - the Bat Lord and a Question for you!

"That's the most foul, cruel, and bad-tempered rodent you ever set eyes on! Look, that rabbit's got a vicious streak a mile wide! It's a killer! He's got huge, sharp... er... He can leap about. Look at the bones! "

    Massive Darkness - High Troll

I'm just gonna go over there to the corner and weep quietly at how massively sweet this figure and, even more so, the superb paint job is.

    The Evil Twins - 02893

The evil cleric and his equally evil sorcerer twin.

Chaos Marauder Horsemen - pic heavy

Chaos Marauder Horsemen from Citadel for Warhammer. I need some cavalry for a storyline and grabbed these up to be the enemy horsemen boss-fight. Lots of pictures. Hope you enjoy.

    The Evil Twins - 02893

The club wielding one is how the figure comes. Using a rotary tool, I removed the the club then carefully bent ant twisted that arm more upwards and added the fireball which is some painted tree foliage from Woodland Scenic. Also using the rotary tool, I shaved off the armor on the legs and arms.

    03346 - The Bonecracker

Thank you. Now the back story... he was a complete d-bag. I named him Aston Garron and he had two children which he named Aston (daughter) and Garron (son). He had them trained and manipulated them throughout their teen and early adult years. She was an archer specialist, he was a range ray and bolt using sorcerer. The father used them and their abilities and became part of "The Prophecy" in my campaign as The Far-reacher. The father is really just a brutal melee combatant (with a semi-hefty magical mace) and he would launch arrows and magic rays from bracers he wore which were linked one to each of his children, who were hidden further back and unseen, so as to build the reputation of the arrogant and fame seeking father.
  17. This is the Bones version.

    not a Hill Troll (02421)

I have opted to use this labelled hill troll as a Fire Giant youth gang member/merc thug
  19. just a quick paint job.

    Frankenstein's monster 03249

just didn't want to do the Boris Karloff green skin. Victor was a brilliant scientist that managed to maintain bloodflow through various body parts and his creature was done through picky and meticulous means by Victor.

    Flesh Golem 02595

I opted to go with fresh parts, not yet greying out, decayed bits.

    Scourge Devil (03527)

Dangit, I never realized I missed cleaning off the mold lines on the horns. Why didn't one of you tell me before I painted it! I completely blame strangers whom I have never spoken to before!
