Oh dear, this is the second time in a row when I have backed a kickstarter on the very first day of the year.

But the idea of a dwarf in a onesie is just too silly to pass up.

Cheers paintybeard. He’s a berserker, but bearskins are hard to find in outer space, but this bear onesie might work?

he has a jet pack too, so he can get into the thick of it all at in no time at all!

One of the Sci-fi Dwarves painted and ready for the table. Looks like a tough veteran who might be up for the odd bit of smuggling and maybe a pastry or two!

    I LIKE that Druid!

Especially that he is SUPPOSED to be annoying!

    And probably never notices. ::P:

    He probably sings.

    Badly.

Absolutely. It could be as a result of spending too long in his grove, tending to his herbs. But he’s definitely too sunny for most folk, it’s only proper to moan about the weather or the nights drawing in, but not this guy he loves everything! :D

Really wanna support this one but I don't want the entire lot & I want a mix up medium & small figures. I guess we'll see before it ends.

Hi Haldir, you can mix and match the Miniatures. Just figure out which ones you want and total up the cost, then Select a pledge and adjust the amount to reflect your choice.

Thanks SamuraiJack for posting about the Kickstarter, very much appreciated.

I’ll revise the campaign text so the stretch goals and how the pledge selection works is clearer.

I’m also looking at finishing a second Grooleshi head and other bits to tempt you guys in :)

  4. That’s a good point I’ll keep in mind for next time. Avoid finishing over a bank holiday.

I would have, but it would have ended before money got on my credit card, and would have been declined.

Those minotaurs were rather tempting, but this weekend it takes three or even four days for money to get from bank to credit card (due to the stat Friday)

I had planned on backing this, but I haven't received minis from their last project. I got an email saying it was shipped March 4th, so I thought there'd be plenty of time to back, but I guess not.

Hi Sudan, I’m not aware of your missing packet. If you’d like to message me via Kickstarter I can chase up your order.

It could be it was delayed by the bad weather we had at the start of a March, I know a packet arrived in the USA this week, which was dispatched at the same time.

But whatever has happened I’ll make sure you do get your miniatures and please accept my apologies for their delayed arrival.

Thank you all for the enthusiasm for my miniatures. I do hope they find there way onto your gaming tables or make great encounters in your adventures. We’re almost at the end of the funding campaign and I’m amazed at the support it’s attracted. I’ll continue to make animal miniatures beyond this campaign and I’m open to suggestions for more. Wild boars, Aurochs and centaurs are certainly at the top of the list.

    Many thanks,

    Phil

  6. Thank you for the comments and likes. I've been away from the hobby for a number of years, too many distractions with work and a young family. But the kids are older now and I have plenty of spare time, so I'm backing into it with a vengence. Plenty more sculpts on the corks too :)

  7. Finally got a o play Otherworld and it didn't disappoint. We got to grips with the game mechanics quickly and by the third round the game was flowing nicely. I had my monster Warband led by a sinister sorcerer against a Pig Ork group, which had an ogre and rust monster along with them.

I won, but mainly because my opponent had some horrendous dice rolls. My Frost Giant ripped into them but survived unscathed as they never brought their numbers to bare on him.

I found that the tome of truth magic item was invaluable as it allowed an extra two activations, so I could keep the pressure on throughout the game.

Looking forward to my next game, will try and get some missile troops included for my next game as well as making up an undead Warband, too many lovely undead figures around not to.
