  1. That's great, man, that must have taken months ! Well done Anastrianna ... I like dudes boots! Where'd you get those great trees?
  2. Welcome to the boards :-) I like "Picture 128" .. is that heavy drybrushing on the cloak/robe? Looks good ... nice grays. The bone color looks good., and the base is fitting :-) I'd go up (*just a bit*) in the bone hi-lite IMHO. Keep painting ... post often.
  3. Hi all ... I've updated this post with new pictures. Now you can actually see the details :-) Thanks for looking ... comments welcome.

  6. Hi all ... I've updated this post with new pictures. Now you can actually see the details , although in these pics they look very harsh, but I figured they would look crappy ... need much, much, much more practice! Thanks for looking ... comments welcome.
  7. Hi all ... I've updated this post with new pictures. Now you can actually see the details :-) Here's a pic I snapped of the cork base I did ... it's on a hand carved piece of wood: Thanks for looking ... comments welcome.

  9. Yeah .. I like em ... you gonna base this guy ?
  10. Wow ... that's terrific! Made me head spin taking in all those details, I mean, wow !!! I can't get over the skin tones and fine detail work on pillows :-) Great job, A+ (*man, that's neat*)
  11. :-) No problem guys. Keep painting, post often.
  12. First off, welcome to the boards. This is a nice job, clean painted and I like the stone work. The blue really sets a hidden dividing line between areas in the piece. Armor and sword with gem are cool. Is the armor painted in metallic then washed in black? Looks great BTW. Keep painting, send lots of pics :-)
  13. Cool ..... thanks man, yeah perfect sense. I'll try that :-) Say ... this happier, changed the avatar :-)
  14. Man, I looked and looked, ran searches and looked some more ... I've posted a scan of the mini I got from Durak, now I have better quality pics so here he is again, it's a fantastic job and I display it and show it to whom ever gets close to my painting area :-)
  15. I've updated old pics before ... but they still stayed in the same place ... how do you *bump* ... is it something as simple as checking off the Edit thing? I'll try to capture that same happy angle :-)
  16. I've finally got a digital camera :-) Thought I post this size comparison of the Citadel Gnome Thief and Reaper Paladin Initiate. I still have to get a tripod or something before I get busy and take pics of the minis, took this one hand held. I know I've posted a number of miniatures here before, but was wondering if I could post again (new topics), or just update the old photos to the new ones in my old posts ... now that you actually be able to "see" this paintjobs ?
  17. No problem man, I know you've been busy. Glad you like it, had a blast painting him :-) I'd like to thank Steven Page for letting me take part in such a great event :-)
  18. Great looking army mateybob ... wouldn't want to bump into these guys in a dark battlefield I like both of these recipes, I have #02077 & #2437 on the table now. Although, I might now go as hi in white as mateybob has is the closeup, just to where a lite source hits the bone, and may take it to a bit more yellow/brown? Any thoughts?
  19. Wow .... I like this method, gonna have to try it out, I've got a zombie that's up for the challenge (I think I've painted and stripped him 5 times now in the last 8 months). I too would very much like to see the matte/based ones when your done :-) Great job Hexxenhammer !
  20. That's a great job. Real frosty looking, the base is cool .... what did you use ? =8-)
  21. What a great change from the norm ... well painted FuzzyIzmit! I like the skin color big time .. really sets the pink off. Or is it the pink that sets the green off ... whatever, it looks great. Axe is cool, nice NMM. Sorry to hear about the arm thing ... never heard of that happening on plastics, weird? I think Darkstar's right ... pin will do the trick.
  22. Hey all ... it's been a while since I've posted anything. Here's my latest, but I'm stuck on what to do with the base. Pointers needed, comments welcome :-)
  23. Man ... those are great! Love the armor and skin colors ... really makes you stop and take notice.
  24. Nice man ..... real nice :-) Great red armor ... makes the rest of the mini pop! Gold doesn't look too yellow. Well done.
