  1. And just for fun, here is an added bonus: the Crawling Claw.
  2. Thank you! Here you go. Three layers of green flames on the skulls and a gloss coat on the wisps. Then on to the bases they go!
  3. Morghast Bone and Flesh Was on the skulls, followed by dry brushing with Screaming Skull and White Scar. A layer of Catachan Flesh with dry brushes of Gorthor Brown, Karak Stone, and Screaming Skull on the bases. The rocks on the bases were base coated in Eshin Grey and then brushed with Administratum Grey and Deepkin Flesh.
  4. Cool looking party! I like this idea.
  5. I am starting a new project for the fall and winter. Games Workshop has updated its Undead/Vampire army, now calling them the Soulblight Gravelords. I am jumping in on this army, but at the same time I also want to have lots of figures for playing D&D. (I like dual purpose models. :-) With that in mind, I have used a couple of extra flying stands from some Star Wars Legion figures and dived into my bits box to create a couple of classic D&D monsters: Demilich--basically a flying skull 2 Flameskulls--flying skulls wreathed in flame 3 Will-o-wisps--glowing ball
  6. Atomic Mass Games. The line is Star Wars Legion. But they were originally Fantasy Flight Games.
  7. I added one more small item to this group, a Beskar Spear. It started life as a Bretonnian lance.
  8. Great start! Those are awesome models.
  9. Very nice! Some old classics there.
  10. Thanks all! I finished basing him this morning and moved the old banner over.
  11. The last step is to move the existing banner over to this guy.
  12. One of the last steps was to paint the bottle he carries.
  13. Lots of highlighting and detail work this morning.
  14. Looking good! Are those Contrast Paints?
  15. Very nice! I love the Ratcatcher. Very Warhammery.
  16. I have a banner already. It is an elaborate ogre banner that has a crow's nest, lookout, and two big banners. All from plastic bits.
  17. Lots of work done today! First coat on many different areas and then a wash. Oh, and a few details on the face.
  18. Thank you! Today I base coated and washed his armor. Also put a coat of contrast paint on his staff and hammer handle.
