(Initiative: 5 + 0 = 5) Zataka sees the gunfight fixing to happen and Runs across the Open area toward Duravor. Yelling, “Duravor... guns!” in common as he crosses over. (will end up on the side of the red dots toward the large crate... if he makes it through the volley. On the next round he will draw his pistol before deciding on an action.) Photon Mode Atuning

We are all hoping Xap plays a major role in combat. Major ranged combat. I can certainly shift into it, but my class is strongly designed for melee if the Solar Weapon is chosen. Our Soldier is also strongly melee focused. At level 5 I'll at least get better bonuses to ranged attack and I can pick up some movement skills through my class, so I'll work on being a hybrid attacker. But late game, my strength is going to be strongly skewed toward melee (the bonuses and abilities there are significant).

Snow is AWESOME!!! Freezing wind? Nope... Hail?!? No, no, nooo... I do miss sunny days on the high plains after snow with winds that made huge drifts to play in the next day.

I can say I have had a lot of things delay my painting... but waiting on laundry has never been one of them. What am I doing wrong?!? Unless you are stuck at a laundromat? -
They said at the end of Season 2 Campaign 1 that the replays would be available the following Thursday. So, it looks like they have changed the schedule somewhat.

Judo was my jam... for a time... and then I moved to the backwaters of East Texas and had no dojo, no classes, no teachers... In fact, in 1989, my biggest life decision was to stay in Austin and train for the Kodokan or come to my current town and continue with college. It was a tough choice... and I often wonder how things would have gone if I chose differently...

Hmm... let's see... 1. I've pretty much accepted that my career progression is over. That doesn't mean I still don't dream of being a successful __________ in the future... but I don't really want to climb higher up the stress ladder than I already am. 2. I haven't bought one yet, but the itch to buy a Jeep continues to grow stronger throughout my 40s. 3. Affair? Good gosh... I hope not. My wife isn't a lot of things, but Jealous is one of them. Plus I would be absolutely stupid to mess that up. Being a strong introvert, I've never expected to be hit on so hard that I just absolutely lost my mind... and being paranoid of something like that, I am probably overly standoffish to women in my life. 4. I work at a University, and I wear t-shirts to work every day. Oh... and this year, I rediscovered the joy of Levi's 501's again. And then remembered how much of a pain it was to readapt to button flies... and probably why we didn't wear belts in the 80s. So, if that is the criteria, then I'm halfway done with my mid-life crisis, right? Minis were an unexpected... circumstance that I never saw coming... so I'm not sure if that didn't impact some of the other options on the list...

Enjoy it... being staff, everyone else at the University is off but us... so, it's kinda quiet... -
If I were the @Glitterwolf, I would be thinking Def Leppard's "Pour Some Glitter On Me"... but apparently I'm more complicated than that... hmmm.... I'll go with the Say Anything anthem, "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel. A lot of times in my life I have felt like a guy out in a park trying to connect with other people with a jambox held above my head playing a song that I never expect to be heard. In many ways, I was lucky that I found my wife and filled one part of my heart. I've never been good at having close friends or even having friends that have similar interests. Thanks for being people that listen to my songs. I kinda like a lot of you...

Zataka is one of the last off the shuttle. Anyone who knew him would see the excitement in his step as he looks all around trying to take everything in on the new and fabled location. His small body camera takes in the forward view, but his eyes roam all around. His four arms are almost kid-like in his anticipation. (Perception: 19+1 = 20)

Oh... yeah... now I can see that I can do that too... I wonder if it is a subscriber only thing. Not sure. (The benefit of having Amazon Prime and being able to throw a free Subscription at G&S).

I am seeing the Intro to the second campaign, but not the full episode. I might be missing it, but it isn't initially coming up on my searches. Last night they said they would be released the following Thursday for podcasts and videos. It has been up on Project Alpha though... which is only fair, those that pay get the privilege. I would imagine someone is watching for illegal uploads too...
-
Yes. Podcasts go all the way back to when they started being public. This doesn't go back to the beginning of their first campaign... that wasn't recorded at the time. But you can start in with their arc in Craghammer and go beyond. I listen to the podcast a lot when I am painting and hobbying. Or even doing dull computer work during the day. And sorry, I meant to be on here during the event, but we ended up getting home just before it started... grabbed all the dogs and cats and brought them to the bed because my wife wanted to watch... and I wasn't able to be on my laptop and comment at the same time. So, I just sat back and watched the first half unfold. At the break, we bailed, though... because it has been a long week. We'll finish it tonight (because I can rewatch on Project Alpha and not have to wait for next Thursday for the rebroadcast or podcast). As for #SilhoutteWatch, I got a couple right and a couple wrong. Totally missed Sam's character (everything about Sam's character). I did pick correctly for Taliessen Jaffe and Liam O'Brian... but... that was just the Silhouette. Loved Laura's character!!! Intrigued on Ashley's character, but didn't get enough to figure out what she is. Lots of people got Marisha's character... but I bet no one guessed the name. Will have more thoughts after I watch the rest tonight...

The first campaign went over 115 episodes... at about 3.5 hours per episode. That's a lot of D&D, not counting the one-shots. The hype is real... Alpha has been maintaining over 100 people in the chat getting ready for the event. They are going to be streaming live on Twitch, YouTube (at least according to one moderator) and Alpha. So... here's hoping we (the viewers) don't crash out the first episode of the new campaign.
-
Actually... now that I think about it, I'm probably going to be going Randomness on this thread, and there is a TAG for Spoilers. Consider yourself warned. If you want to know what episode we are talking about, we can preface that and do a link from the front page to cover that.

Critical Role resumes tonight (just in case you didn't know) in a brand new campaign with all new characters. I'll be watching it on Alpha, using my same personae. We have no idea who will be who, or what they will be or where they will start, but the conjecture is strong. Once the show has aired, please use Spoiler tags for any content that needs it. As the show is airing, feel free to discuss it! There is a spoiler tag alert in the header and I'll make a big sign below. No reason to use spoilers, but I can link to specific episodes if people need to skip something and come back to it. Maybe we won't say too much about previous episodes that way. Who knows... Otherwise, bring on the popcorn and lets enjoy a good show!!! Be Ye Warned! There Be Spoilers Below! The Silhouettes have been Revealed...

You could try Ankeny Construction Toys. He has a Brick Link as well. In other trivia, Hothie (Doug Kinney) was the 2012 X-Wing World Champion.

How about we just wash off some of the glitter and call it done... you don't have to be sparkly EVERY. D&#@. DAY. *** Quizical look on his face with paw raised to his throat *** Me? You think I was being snarky?!? Little ol' me? *** Looks down at shredded fur mat, shattered skull and mammoth calf catnip toy that has been ripped in two *** Fine... I need more coffee anyway *** grumbles out of the cave *** -
Not Karaoke, but involves singing. In the late 90s to early 2000s I sang in a barbershop quartet. In 2002 our quartet decided we would go sing with the Houston Tidelanders as they had been in the top 10 at international competition the previous year and the director was Todd Wilson of the Acoustix (who had won gold medals with the Acoustix as a quartet singer and singing with the Vocal Majority). Every Monday night we would drive about three hours into Houston sing for a couple of hours and then drive home. Anywho... long story short... we get to the first time we are going to perform with the chorus at the Brown Convention center. We do the morning test and then have lunch before the performance that night. There is a group of restaurants nearby and we were headed for the Hard Rock Cafe but it had a line about an hour so we went next door to a BBQ place that was half Texas BBQ and half southern soul food. There was a rap competition going on while we were ordering food. We listened to a few of the groups with all the extra equipment. We finished just about the time they were going to take a break. Our lead singer went and asked if we could sing for them. So... we sang two of our upbeat numbers during a rap competition with just our voices and walked away to a standing ovation. Just one of the many fun times we had singing together. I'll always take singing to a crowd over singing to an individual though.
