Lol... I meant where we hid them!

Those photos appear to have been taken on the 2nd... The maracas we're added on the 3rd! I didn't think to take pictures of them!
-
Great seeing you again... I'll need to make sure I try the fudge and maple liquor next year!

Sorry I'm already overbooked this year. Thanks for thinking of me!

GETTING TO KNOW YOU OCTOBER 2021- BY GLITTERWOLF
Dragoneye replied to Glitterwolf's topic in Off-Topic Rampancy
Anything. Its a time to express yourself.. as what you are, are not, or wish to be. -
Pern ... because Dragons. I wouldn't want to be out in Threadfall, but then who in their right mind would... unless of course you have a dragon.

Probably the 1976 lead balrog. I also have a bunch of limited editions and other ancient stuff (especially if '90s counts as old).

I think it was Onyx from Rackham. I did buy it. I've started painting him multiple times, but have never finished him. I still want to paint him..

Likes: Brinewind Store. The auction is fun as a social event, but this allowed me to get something I wanted within reason. The auction gets way to 'serious' sometimes. Scheduled time between classes. MSP Open in a separate room The displays and doc cams for classes. Dislikes: Shorter classes (especially as the teachers had short notice about that) - yes I know I also like the time between... I'm contrary like that. No con wrap-up. I agree with ChaosWolf on the feeling of just running out of gas. I miss vendor swag too No center aisle (or any aisle) during the awards ceremony.

Planning to be there too... Already planning next year's entries and trying to figure out how I can stop myself from taking so many classes.

A good weightlifting workout. The need to focus completely on lifting is meditative to me. It pushes my viewpoint to just 'the now' and provides perspective on what's causing stress. I think I like all things sweet... I introduced my daughter to a mocha shake this week... so yummy. Also cinnamon candied pecans, tiramisu, creme brulee, cheesecake, ice cream and frozen custard , cookies... and pie and cake (I like both!)

Wednesday Evening Pizza Megadungeon (old school D&D)

I'm interested too... -
I had a work-study job at one of the university kitchens. It wasn't that bad, I remember shredding a lot of big blocks of cheese. Just, boring. What I don't remember is quitting... I think I just stopped going.

A very thick resin pour. I did it all in one go. Im glad i didnt start a fire or melt the figure. It is still sticky. But even so, earned a silver and silver monster award at reapercon.. go figure.

Yes... but concerned and feeling skittish about it. Ready? Whats that? Getting there I have everything basically in order. The entries though... why do I do this every year? Sigh... I'm working on my first open division entry. I hope I get it done soon so I can get my Painters entry finished too. Anything but running? I have a few: martial arts (karate and kobudo), rock climbing (bouldering), weightlifting/crossfit, downhill skiing, swimming...

Ok... I'm in too... always a good time. I'm feeling a bit skittish right now, but I need a ReaperCon. Dragoneye. Use the image from last year... matches the pin. Looks like it disappeared here. Will try to get it back. Or can use the one I have on my insta @dragoneye_miniatures. Wed - Sun/Mon.

Assuming living animal... I got to play with a lion cub, he was going on special exhibit at the museum I worked at. We got to entertain him while they prepared his cage... suite? Absolutely adorable with giant paws he hadn't grown into yet. If you are wondering anout the living statement... I worked in fossil prep, so I've held some pretty cool and unusual dead animals.

"Well, now I seem to be in a bit of a pickle. Boys and girls its a really bad idea to put a sleeping dragon in a headlock. For one you look awfully silly, and well its rather dangerous. Now that is a really big eye that just opened... I think I'll just let go and back away before she decides that I'm breakfast.!" This dragon is a hoarder of books, small painted figures and a selection of well loved japanese weapons. There is also a good selection of well used heavy objects that are apparently just meant to be picked up and put back down. You'll also notice claw marks on the ceiling for when she decides she'd rather be up there.

Tom, who taught Russian and World History. He also taught me that I knew more than I thought I did; and if I didn't it was ok to make s#*t up. John, who taught an entire quarter on Edgar Allen Poe and always had hot water in his room for tea or coffee. Peggy who had swamp water aquariums in her class windows. One day she called me out for not paying attention to her lecture, I explained I was watching a hydra bud and she told me to carry on just get notes from someone after class. Judy knew that I already knew how to sew so she just let me work on my own project while she taught the group to thread a machine etc... she also skipped her own class once to go out to lunch with me. Yeah, that was a great school. :)
