  1. I'm really glad to here about this, thank you for letting us know. I think this is definitely a win win for the backers and the creators.
  2. I wonder if it's because of all the extra kickstarter exclusive mini's? I feel like those models really bloated the production costs since many of them were large and very detailed.
  3. Great, Thread, and Great work, looking forward to seeing more updates!
  4. I just got my shipping notice ( Thankfully! ) from Fedex, now I'm working on trying to get the item sent to my new address.
  5. For those of you in the US who have got your mini's already, did they show up USPS or Fedex, or UPS? Hopefully mine will redirect, if being sent by USPS. Still haven't seen any tracking info. Thanks!
  6. I have to say the shading on the blades are definitely my favorite part on the mini, I really like that the earth tones were used for the opposing blade faces. Hope to see some more old school minis in the future!

Nice Work! You did really good on capturing the detail of the armor on the guy on the right!
  8. For the eyes I basically follow this tutorial, except I paint the pupils a bit bigger so I can put the white spots in them. https://www.reapermini.com/TheCraft/12 I try to leave just enough brown around the eyes to frame them, but not so much that they get racoon eyes. I use a mid brown. Thanks all!
  9. Hi Everyone, I've complete my first two repaints. They serve as a progress marker, and to replace the originals which I sold. I feel like I'm finally getting some good looking skin tones, that I'm happy with, unfortunately the matte varnish seems to kill some of the shading. These pics were taken before the varnish was applied. I painted both of them with color schemes to match the originals. Would doing a gloss varnish, then a matte coat help preserve some of the shading? Also my photography has gotten better, although it still could use some improvement. And I'm slowly working on doing better on the basing. The originals had no basing. I'm think I'm going to buy a leaf punch and some cork. Is paper or real leaves recommended for making the miniature leaves? Thanks all, hope you enjoy the pics.
  10. I got mine a few days ago so the shipping took about 2-3 weeks, I ordered them from Poland though I think, looking on the boxes on the minis it looks like they have a England branch too.
  11. The NMM and SENMM is great, that shield too is really awesome.
  12. Lookin' very good, I really like the dress color and the shading you did on it.
  13. Great Job on the lava and the OSL from it! I also really like the basing you used on each mini. I think I may have to buy some cork, what do you use for the moss? Thanks.
  14. Really Great looking Lava! If you don't mind sharing, what base color did you use for the lava? Thanks.
  15. Really Great OSL, hope to see more posts from you!
  16. I love these threads, Thanks for posting them!
  17. Got mine a few days ago, I live in the midwest, and did the late pledge, although I was on the early end of the late pledge. So for those who haven't gotten theirs yet. There's hope!
  18. Hi I just wanted to say thanks to those who have posted pics of their minis. I went ahead an ordered a few after seeing the pictures of them.
  19. Hi Everyone, Here's my next two mini's I've completed. Liela was originally supposed to be a druid, I was inspired by someone else who painted their Liela with an Ice style Palette. In retrospect I think I really should have sculpted her a summoning circle base, but I had already done all the rocks on her base. So I tried to use grass & flowers to cover them up. Terezinya, this is actually the first time I've painted NMM gold that I thought came out decent. I tried to NMM her steel bits too. Her clothing really didn't turn out as well as I had hoped. I foresee more practicing painting black clothing in the future. I think I should have tried to sculpt part of a grave on her base. Currently I've been sculpting all the basing before putting paint on the minis, I wondering If I should wait until later. Overall I'm happy with the minis, but not the basing. And of course I'm always looking for C&C to improve. Thanks for looking!
  20. Lookin really awesome, the eyes are greatness!
  21. Great looking eyes! I think you did quite well on her. I would recommend you highlight the hair a bit more, if I were to give advice. It's something I'm still working on too.
  22. I've been using both thinner medium and glaze medium together with good results. They seem to thin the paint with out it desaturating. The ones I'm using are Vallejo. I'm not sure what the matte medium is for.
  23. Really awesome looking, I like how you used colors that don't seem to be used to often on Dragons! Great Job on the eyes too!
