I have a few of the round d20s retired because they won't stay still on any numbers.

I also still have some of the crayons, they are half melted to the original boxes of gamma world and top secret

TOP SECRET:SI? OMG! I just saw that box in the garage the other day:) were the dice not colored in on that set either? Man, I gotta get my box out now:)

  2. So I know this will probably date me, but does anyone else remember coloring your dice numbers with crayons? I even seem to remember getting a white crayon in the original blue and cyan (or whatever the color is) DnD boxes:) Those were fun times:) I may even have those dice around somewhere in the garage:) A LOT of dice (I like collecting dice haha)

    In Space Age Bonesium!

Good for an aquatic monster, or a critter out of the Fiend Folio of yore.

    The Auld Grump

That's out of the fiend folio? I'll have to dust off my book:) yup, I still have the blue and pink box sets of D&D and all of the 1st ed. books, including fiend folio:) where in the garage is the real question:)

  4. I was bored so did a search and found this on their facebook page:

UPDATE: Resetting Fog Machine project to optimal Kickstarter time. Tuesday August 1st 1 PM EST

After some in depth research with Kickstarter data today we have decided to set the project date as above. This is due to starting and ending times being optimal to the success of the project.

We are re-sending email notifications to update. Though we are as anxious as you to get going in the end we believe this will create the best opportunity for buyers around the world as well as last minute buyers which seems to be crucial in many projects as you can see in the chart below.

We hope you all will understand and bear with us as we do everything in our power to make this project a success 1f642.png:)

All the best from us here at RGFX

    Hmm, August 1st, coincidence?

Wouldn't you prefer water anyway to avoid gunking up your terrain & minis with glycerin or oil or whatever else was used? (I've never used one so I don't know how much condenses.)

I know on my fog machine (its one of the one's from spencer's gifts) that anything about a foot in front of the machine can and will get some of that residue from the fog juice. That's why its recommended for outdoor use only:)

And it's 9:08 AM PST, is this still going live?

I don't really like this one as much as I do the audio version because she narrates there:)

and heres a link to the album audio:

Yep. I don't care enough to dip it in boiling water and freeze it for a slight bend in the sword. My goblin standard bearer who looked like he got run over by a tank got the boil/freeze treatment but not a slightly bent sword. ::D:

Yup I had the three skeleton archers, and for the life of me, I could NEVER get one of them to take:( the other two are pretty much straight standing (one better then the other but still upright) but the one would never stay, so he is now almost done following the skeleton walk-through in the core skills reaper LTPK, he just looks like he is peering around the corner shooting:)

I seem to be in the minority here, I can easily pass on this one. Lovely paint job, but the sculpt just feels awkward, and I can't get past that goofy face.  Maybe if I saw it in raw metal it could change my mind.

I didn't want to be the first to say it:) But yes, he does seem awkward. Not sure what it is, but it just didn't seem to wow me. But that's me. Maybe because I have WAY too many elves:)

As someone who spent most of his adult life working with ordnance, I fully support more explosions.

You can never have too many explosions:) Maybe have Sir Forscale test out the ordnance:)

Now that would be a cool Chibi dragon, okay I am in:)

Well, the griffin is not the only model on her stretch goal, but averaged across every model, she's very much a bargain.

So something like the mythical monsters from KS III? Now I am intrigued. Well then hopefully the stretch goal is not too expensive:)

    I'm getting:

    150 Human Mage Female
    150 Human Knight female
    150 Human Squire female
    150 Dwarf Ronin
    100 Gnome Duskblade
    150 Human Monk
    100 Halfling Samurai Female
     50 Large Fox

That fox is a pretty nice sculpt.

If I can swing it, I'll be getting the fox, the kobold rogue and that halfling female. 200 points, that will work:)

What is with all of the chibi hate?  I will dive (oversized)headfirst into any Reaper offering of fantasy chibis!!!  I always loved the SDE minis, but I was finding it hard to justify buying their whole games just for the one or two player character minis I wanted.

Now, if I can just talk one of the sculptors into doing a special Solomon Kane-esque chibi mini, I'll be able to have the chibi witchhunter version of myself from my painters logo!

Mine is not a hate but more of burnout. Got nothing wrong with chibi, but as I said before, after working 6+ years with a Japanese company that brought in everything SD/Chibi, you get burned out REAL fast:(

It's possible I'm oversensitive. I just would prefer to see "I will pass on levels with _____" instead of "Reaper don't put any _____ in the project".

I will pass over goals of miniatures I am not real interested in, and just get ones I really like:) This is also a good thing to do because it's hard on the wallet trying to get all the miniatures you make:) They are all great sculpts, and its great to give everyone variety:)

...now why didn't I think of that? I've DONE that figure before, without the wings; a lady friend of mine asked me to mod it into her D&D character... without the wings.

Still VERY interested in a Count Rugen/Six Fingered Man figure, though... the hair and Renaissance clothing would have to be right.

The sword and sixth finger, I can do myself.

That would be a great figure in bones:) hint, hint!

Oh, believe me, for the last 5 years everyone has been telling me how extremely bad we are at deciding what models go into one of these projects. When there's 300 models in a project, and somebody doesn't like that we add in a set of 5 models they hate, they tell me all about it.

Seriously, I would hate to be at the grocery store with these people. "Veggie tray! awesome! Wait. It has ... BLUE CHEESE? ABOMINATION WORST VEGGIE TRAY EVER! Oh, look, frozen pizza. WHAT? PINEAPPLE? NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN!" "um... did you notice the pizza next to it which doesn't have pineapple?" "NOT GOOD ENOUGH! I insist that, although it is beyond my budget to buy every item in the store, I must have the option of doing so, any offering I would not get if I could afford it offends me!"

    The vulture.

Really? I'll have to look at him again, but he didn't seem chibi to me:) Speaking of the vulture, is buying mr. bones the only way to get copies of the vulture, or will he be sold separate? And honestly i'm not opposed to any miniature in the core set, they are all great sculpts and more miniatures to hone my skill. Granted, I may paint them up and sell em on ebay if I don't really like them, but im not opposed to them:) I may just pick and choose this KS though, as I have a ton of mini's now:) and I am low on funds haha.

We arrange our projects so that there are many different things to choose from, and no items are compulsory. Some projects require that you purchase X (often they make their core set/game mandatory) to be eligible to purchase Y, we don't do that. Any backer can choose any reward set (a set may be 1, 2, or even dozens of models) they wish, with no compulsory "pledge tax". I have used the metaphor of going to the grocery store, and being able to buy bread, or peanut butter, or both, or neither. We do that. You can get the Core, or an Option, or both, or more than one of each, or whatever. For bones 1, I gave up trying to explain the possible combinations, but with 18,000 backers there were 15,748 unique orders that consisted of combinations of rewards no other backer had selected in precisely the same combination.

I encourage you if you do not like chibi style models to select rewards that do not have them as a part of that reward. We produced 23 chibi style models with Bones 3, and 3 of them were in the Core Set. The other 20 were available as optional rewards, and were very popular. There were also over 300 total models, so for every model of the chibi style, we offered 15 non-chibi models that you could choose from.

I promise you that if you hate chibi models, we will produce something you hate for Bones 4. And frankly, I'm quite happy about that. Because somebody else loves chibi models, and we make models for everyone.

I cannot even remotely guarantee that you *will* like anything we offer. We like to think that there will be something in there you will like, and you will like that one thing enough to overlook that we offered up a buffet of models, which included dishes you don't like.

Wait? There were three chibi's in the core set? Mr. and Mrs. bones and who else?
