  1. I got mine too! I really like it, I agree the generic nature of most of the maps make it more useful, tho now I really want to figure out how to use the lava map and the cavern. My group just got a boat so we've been using that map pretty regularly. Haven't used the stickers yet. Are they easy to peel on and off? and to get back onto their sticker sheet?
  2. I love the green moss/dirt in the grout, is that paint or flocking?
  3. That I can see. It just doesn't make sense, if you think all the good stuff is in the add ons, then just by the add ons. Why complain about it so much? He must be a very unhappy person in real life.
  4. What other motive though? Beyond simply being unpleasant?
  5. I love it, the face is so expressive and the blues!
  6. The colors are so vivid and perfect for the mini!
  7. Man, I just used the pledge manager and I'm already at 500 and there's still so much more to unlock! Stupid cool spiders, and dragons, and mouslings, and war machines, and giant fish terror thing and....
  8. Agreed! little ziplocs would be more useful and reusable. I try to cut off the tops instead of tearing them so they can be sort of little bags, but it's not very successful. Hopefully synthetics will continue to get better and better, and the real artist ones are a worlds away from like the cheap hobby lobby ones which get worn out so quickly. I feel a little better since at least my natural brushes are so tiny, not the like the real watercolor brushes. I just try to take really really good care of them to get the maximum possible use from them
  9. I definitely recommend ordering off an actual art store website like Dick Blick, and I like give my brushes a bit of a light wash and precondition with some brush soap. Also, I had trouble with W&N, even though they were highly recommended. I never got a good one. I heard (like people have mentioned) that they changed manufacturing styles or something before I got into painting so maybe all the good ones are now just a memory :( I highly recommend Rosemary and Co, series 33. I only had one come to me with a split tip and they immediately replaced it. Al
  10. Lol, I read "revolting" and expected like diseased people with oozes and sores.
  11. I'm so excited to see what comes next, the Bones 5 enthusiasm train will be just the thing to break me out of my no painting slump. It's been a stressful summer and counter-intuitively I've barely touched my paints, just haven't been motivated, but I totally broke out a Bones 4 Troll to work on tonight!
  12. Oooooooooooooooooooooo I'll keep an eye out then! A lot of Bones 4 minis had separate bases which was suuuper helpful
  13. I thought it was faster but not that much faster! Has any started making the comparison charts like they did in bones 4, comparing progress to Bones 3, 2 and 1?
  14. Someone might have already asked this, but is the base separate?
  15. Love that OSL. I still haven't gotten OSL to work on any of my figures, I think I'm too timid. Did you fully paint her head like the body and then add the green lighting, or just go straight to the lighting?
  16. I second this idea! maybe not quite as vibrant as the shell highlights but a little more would make them pop more
  17. I got mine today! Everything looks great! Man, Bones Black shows some crisp detail on the smaller minis!! I also got both paint sets despite only ordering Paint Set B. But my Argent is missing :( i emailed Reaper already so I’m sure it’ll be fine.
  18. My Wave 1 shipped! Finally! only 28.20 lbs which I was surprised about but I guess I didn't order a lot of the big things, like dance of death and the zombie dragon but I did the barge, Argent, Mossbeard, and the trio of doom
