    Mine was supposed to deliver yesterday... then I got the email saying "A mechanical failure has delayed delivery. We're adjusting plans to deliver your package as quickly as possible"

     

    And when checking my tracking number yesterday it said "Check back tomorrow for an updated delivery date."... 

     

    ... and checking it today it said "Check back tomorrow for an updated delivery date." still 😞

     

    Tried to call to see if I could pick it up before my d&d game tonight because its 30 minutes from me, and got a vaguely hopeful answer at 930 this morning, saying they'd contact the facility and I should hear back in an hour or so... then four hours later I call again and find out that the first guy didn't know what he was talking about, that facility is closed/has no customer service on Sundays, and it is therefore not possible to do anything about it today. 

     

    Tonight is when my group first fights ship to ship in their pirate campaign. I was really hoping to have a ship by then (and a few more nice pirate minis)

    just IMO they shouldn't say 'we will start over from the top with the delayed 1 and 2 waves' if they had no way of actually doing so, or any way of checking that they were. why promise something you cannot fulfil, or even check that you are actually fulfilling?

    At this point I'm expecting that the Wave 1 forgotten few of us will be the last out the door, only taking heart in the fact that they have so few remaining that should be early next week the latest.

    Recent expenses (almost 1k for my car, plus an ER and dentist bill from my mountain biking accident) have me second guessing my Rcon hotel room.  I live semi close, about an hour away, so I COULD commute each day but having done that my first year it forgoes the option of staying up way late and getting back to the room in time to collapse and sleep as an hour drive is not something I should do on the edge of exhaustion.

     

    Alternately, I could also take it from my vendor hall budget which would get spent mostly on things I don't even really need.  Heck some of the stuff I got in the vendor hall last time around is still in the box, and I still haven't even played a single game with the two CAV starter sets I bought.  But it's all really good stuff!

    Go for whatever you think will maximize your enjoyment!

     

    I would probably lean toward the smaller budget for purchases and stay longer each day with the hotel to retire to given your description of the past event, but it's your assessment to make.

    Phantom Glow, "Sample" ( a light teal), and Black Wash for the skin.

    Emerald Green and Black Wash for the scales.

    Tusk Ivory, Brown wash for the teeth

    Styx Purple watered down for the purple wash around the base of teeth/gills

    Lava Orange with Golden Yellow for the fins/claws.

    Earth Brown and Brown Wash for the dirt.

    Coal Black, Spectral White, and Black Wash for the rocks.

    Gem Purple, Styx Purple, and Black wash for inside the mouth.

    Unclear. They said they would and then didn't, so I would hazard a guess that they probably tried and whatever they did didn't give the proper result. Maybe they'll figure it out before they start again, maybe they wont. Worst case we have to wait until the end, which is thankfully not overly far away. They only have a few thousand left, and once they get rolling again they push out 600-800 a day.

    Forgot the solid black.

    Finally sat down and started painting again. Put this together for the RCL in the discord:

    Shadowed Stone, Solid White, and Stone Wash for the base.

    Coal Black and Spectral White for the statue. Solid black for inside the hood.

    Vallejo Hammered Copper, Polished Gold, and Leather Brown for the Sword.

    Maggot White and Alien Goo for the Runes.

    Emerald Green, Alien Goo, and Maggot White for the gem in the cross-guard.

    I don't think waves are inherently bad, there just needs to be better tracking within the database that allows you to re-order properly if circumstances like we've had this time occur again. While disappointing a container was late, I didn't have an issue with people who did not have delayed items getting their stuff. 

     

    The part that burns me a bit is that when the container made it in, despite tales of starting over at the top with all the set aside orders, that appeared not to have happened.

    News this evening.... all KS shipping is suspended due to a Fire Marshall inspection. Reaper has to rearrange some things in the warehouse to comply with safety regulations.  Shipping is expected to resume on Monday or Tuesday morning.  An update will be sent tomorrow. 

     

    Still waiting for mine too, Wave 1 Dragonfolk/Rune Wights/Normal Ship. Finalized first order within 10 minutes of pledge manager opening. Mildly frustrating. Figured once they got the container mine would go nearly instantly to the front of the line... but as of Thursday night, the outlook is shipping next Tuesday at the earliest.

    I'm also wave 1, first order placed within 10 minutes of the pledge manager opening, with no shipping yet, you're not alone.

     

    I have the dragonfolk and rune wights, so i was waiting on the final container, and I also have a ship, so I'm further delayed by whatever shenanigans their system was up to since receiving the container. Tune in tonight if you can, I assume they'll be shedding as much light on the situation as they can.

    I'm entirely with you on this. Wave 1 single standard ship, dragonfolk, rune wights, no shipping. Feels bad. Locked in my first order within 10 minutes of the pledge manager opening. Did everything right to be at the head of the line, as far as I could. 😕

     

    On a positive note my friend got his core set and the overgourd is FANTASTIC. I expected very little of it based on the drawing and it seeming to be a very niche halloween joke encounter.... but it's amazing. I'll totally find a reason to use it in my current campaign... next time they find themselves near a farm...

    Kind of sounds like all the ship orders are getting processed as they get ships boxed, and other orders are being processed at the same time.

     

    Same, Wave 1 with a ship, also dragonfolk and rune wights, no emails yet.
     

     

    Can someone who already has a shipping notice post an image showing where it shows within the pledge manager (if it does, I thought someone said it did).

    That is a US penny for scale. (19mm disc. ) Much assembly is required. I might have a part missing. The sprue next to the penny has positions for three pieces but there were only two attached when I opened the bag. 

    Many thanks! I'm a little disappointed with the fungal mini that transformed into a tree/stump thing, I did really like the idea the concept art gave, but I get that none of that is locked in stone.
