  1. I'm not a heavy duty PC game user, so take this with a grain of salt. From what I see, 1ghz is minimum nowdays, give or take of course. 2.5ghz is recommended. So what you listed is pretty good, and will keep you set for a while. I just did a quick search at gamespot.com, you could also check out the game aisle at wal-mart or so as well.

  2. Your current computer is upgradable, but you have to do some research to find out if it's worth it or not. The memory could be upgraded quite a bit I assume, but the processor is uncertain. You likely can't drop in a 4ghz processor in your PC. Likely, your best bet is buying new, though the 800 buck limit is very limiting if you don't want it to be obsolete in a couple years. However, at Dell, I think the XPS 400 fits what you are looking for most. But that's my opinion based on some quick research. It's actually $999, which is a bit more then you want. If that's not good for you, go for the next cheapest one, and add higher end features (better processor, better video card, etc) When picking out the options, I'd skimp on the RAM and hard drive (easy upgrades), pump up the processor and video card (harder to upgrade, or likely cheaper to get it already in then to upgrade). Just rememeber, with Dell, you get what you pay for, so basically you can purchase based on price. I would keep an eye out for specials though, they have alot of them, and some of them are really worth waiting for.

  3. BAH!! I ran out AP outside the "Bryan Fire Station" and I forgot about him before he gained the extra AP to go in. So, he's dead, but I don't want him too be. Can anyone revivify me? Give me a time and a place and I'm there.

Also, is there a standard for zombies that want to be revivified? I think I heard that if you stand outside a nerotech building someone will eventually revivify you, and maybe hospitals, but I just heard it as a rumor, I don't know for sure. Can anyone confirm or deny this, or add more info?

  4. I think if you don't have a survivor in Havercroft or Barrville, get them there, there's a war going on.

I have a cop, Deep Roy that I'm now heading that way to help out. Deep Roy 3 is heading back into the thick of things too.

  5. No Wayans family members in this one?

    I'll watch it.

Funny, that's how I choose whether to watch a movie or not as well. The only time it led me astray was "Glitter, eh, no Wayans family members in this one? I'll watch it." Yea, bad times...

Ouch, that had to hurt. Did your eyes burn?

No, just some light rectal bleeding for about a week.

  6. No Wayans family members in this one?

    I'll watch it.

  7. Havercroft is bad, but Barrville is worse I think. I traveled through it, and 3 times I saw groupings of 13+ zombies, even one that was like 21 or 26 zombies. I haven't heard of any major attacks yet, but I'm sure they are coming.

  8. Also if you get Ankle Grab, then it just takes 1AP to stand up.

Yea, that's my next purchase, but first I wanted the lurching gait, I was sick of every move taking 2 ap, it was draining me big time!

  9. I tried hanging out with other zombies.. guess what.. the zombies attacked my zombie and killed her!

I Know!! That happened to me too. I mean it's bad enough that the game is biased against zombies, but to have zombies attacking zombies, ouch! I'm going to another burb that's more zombie heavy, then maybe it won't be so bad.

  10. Is it just me or is playing a zombie really not fun? Survivors can run and hide, zombies are sitting targets. The last 3 or 4 nights my zombie has been killed no matter what I try. Where is the fun in constantly getting killed. This game, although a blast to play as a survivor, is severly unbalanced against the zombies. Maybe it's just me, but I think there are more survivor players then zombies because of this, if they don't do something, no one will want to be a zombie, and no zombie, no game. Anyone else?

  11. Yea, I heard Mosely PD got hit bad too, but I can't get over there until tomorrow, or more likely the next day. All Reaper peeps get over there to kill some zombies!

    Zombie players, ignore this message.

  12. I'm amazed they haven't taken out the 'under God' portion out of the 'Pledge of Allegiance' in schools. (or maybe they have and I haven't heard about it)

Oh believe me, they are working on it, just give them a few years and then it'll be gone.

  13. Definitely learn to shoot better, all totalled a pistol can be upgraded to 65% hit for 5 damage, a fire ax can only hit 40% for 3 damage. I think the extra damage and hit rate is worth having to search for ammo.

  14. I'm Humansquish and I'm looting in the mall. I'm trying to get a pistol from the gun store, but keep finding shotguns. I have a measly 13 xp.

That's funny because I keep looking for shotguns, and keep finding pistols and clips.

  15. A couple things, I didn't see any zombies whatsoever in the sections of HC I explore

Yea, I heard it was kind of a zombie vacant area, that's why I'm thinking we should hole up at one of the corners. In particular i'm thinking of South West or East corner. Maybe Vearncombe Alley Railway Station or the Gilling Museum in the southwest or Pask Square Railway Station and the Mules Monument in the southeast. I really don't want to just "survive" and hole up, I want to kick zombie butt, and if Havercroft is as low in zombies as I've heard, it's not going to be any fun.

    Any comments, approval or no?

  16. Well, after some teething problems (heh, get it?), Gakalath the Zombie and Lurchy Moonscar the Firefighter are trundling their way over to Havercroft. Expect me there in a few days.

Don't bring the zombie, then you can use things you see here to find survivors and such. My two cents.

I'm holed up in a hospital, anyone yet decided where/if we want to make a Reaper safehouse?

  17. Again, the book will not be out by Christmas, and we're not sure exactly when it will be out. Right now, if it had to give a current projection, I would say that I just can't! In the interim, if you can pick up the Warlord core rulebook, the ten or twelve-page painting guide in the middle of it isn't bad, and the game is fun, too. ::):

Anne, you rush it and it sucks, I'll come down to Texas and kick your butt myself, that or I'll pay someone to do it for me.
