    Artemis 2.0 By Kev White

A new kickstarter project from Kev White: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/hasslefriesian/artemis-20/description Don't think I shall be backing this myself as I don't do much that is bigger than 54mm. This seems to be happening off Kev's own bat and I don't think Hasslefree is involved. Whether that is a good thing or not I leave to your own judgement.

Kudos for trying something original, it works well.

Getting to Know You -- Sept 2019

Renewed my passport and Certificate of Competence, all easy and no delays. Organised, booked and paid for an exciting holiday in the American mid-West. (Setting off on the day Bones V starts, so you will all have to get over-excited for me.) Painted some figures, some of which turned out decently: What rifle? Shows us a picture!

Getting to Know You -- Sept 2019

Solitude, peace and quiet combined with excellent views. A community that is friendly, sociable, but not "in your face". Excellent local meat, fish and dairy produce.

Atlantis Miniatures - Fighting Fantasy Legends

Wow yes, these bring back memories. I shall certainly back for at least some.

No. But I'm still claiming it. (British criminal law does allow you to refuse to answer any question, but your refusal is put on record.)

Claiming the Fifth on this one.
  9. Received my Amazons from Bad Squiddo Games: These are a little late, but I have to admit I'd totally forgotten backing the kickstarter, so I was happily surprised. Nice clean casts that will only require a little fettling. Nice unusual style of armour and very heroic in appearance. Really looking forward to painting these.

Ebay - it's just not fun anymore

Completely agree with this. I have started adding to add a paragraph to all the items I sell stating that, due to losses and damages, I will not post items to Russia or China.
  11. I started out blonde, but then rather cleverly, I decided to have invisible hair. Who would bother with lobster when you can have a nice bowl of crab?

Getting to Know You -- Sept 2019

I would like spare eyeballs and teeth, but I think @Doug Sundseth ninja'd me.
  13. Good luck with the house-hunting Glitterwolf
  14. "Back in the day" at college in South Shields I used to eat a deep-fried haggis on Friday evenings. This would line my stomach so completely that I could spend the entire weekend doing some serious drinking and still end up semi-sober (and well nourished), ready for lectures on Monday morning.
  15. Don't forget to add the Glasgow Salad! (Aka chips.)

Getting to Know You -- Sept 2019

History, preferably combined with the Great Outdoors in the form of a Battlefield Tour.
  17. We are limiting parcel weight to 2 kg. So the postage cost should not be too frightening between any of our countries.

Wife's work: Gulper / Catfish 44038, painted as a koi

Ninja'ed! I'm planning to do my Bones 4 Gulper as a Koi as well! Good work, the texturing is a clever idea.
  19. Square sausage is a nickname for Lorne sausage. Yet another of the VITAL culinary delicacies brought to the world by the Scots. https://foodanddrink.scotsman.com/food/a-history-of-square-sausage-including-a-recipe-for-making-your-own/
  20. No, just very good quality black pepper sausages from the local butcher. Square sausage has not penetrated the awareness of my remote corner of UK. Mercifully I can still get McSweens Haggis via the internet.

    High Elven Army [28/30mm] DAVALEMINIATURES

I've book-marked this for the sheer entertainment of the resulting wreck.

And my set will join the Confrontation Japanese Goblins I have. Fingers crossed the sizes are near enough not to look silly.

I like the Cadillac, the temptation to get a printer increases.

Getting to Know You -- Sept 2019

A nice bright start to the day, but soon clouded up and got pretty windy and wet. 18C and more of the same forecast. Glad I got the grass cut yesterday.

No, the word from "Stranger in A Strange Land" is Grock: "To understand, deeply appreciate, think about someone or something... (frequently done stoned)".
