IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING REAPERCON 2020 April 29, 2020 Today, the ReaperCon staff met to discuss the status of ReaperCon 2020. It is with great disappointment that we unanimously decided to cancel ReaperCon 2020 in light of the current global situation. The safety of our guests, instructors, volunteers and staff is and will always be our primary concern. We want to thank everyone for their support of ReaperCon2020. We will miss sharing our love of painting and gaming with all of you, who we have come to consider our extended family. We will begin processing full refunds through Growtix beginning May 2020. If you have any questions regarding your refund, please contact [email protected] BUT WAIT...NOW THE GOOD NEWS! Rather than just wait until next year for the next ReaperCon, we’re going to hold our first virtual ReaperCon Live Online instead! At this time, this virtual ReaperCon Live Online is being planned to be held this year on Labor Day Weekend, September 3-6 2020. Will there be a Swag Bag? YES! Will there be a VIP Bag? YES! Will there be online classes? YES! Will I have to go anywhere to watch ReaperCon Live Online? NO! It’s all online! Just stay at home on your phone, laptop, or computer! Will I have to pay to watch? NO! It’s all FREE! The only things you’ll have to pay for are optional fun things, like class kits, Swag Bags, and VIP Bags. Please stay tuned for more details as they evolve. At this time, there is no contingency plan. We are hoping it won't be an issue in September, but we will make an announcement, if needed.

So for the past 2 years, we were using Growtix for classes this way: First you would "register for a class". What that did is add it to your "schedule" only to build your itinerary for ReaperCon. Then you would go back and then purchase your seat in that class. It was a two step process to buy your class ticket. May people did like this , yet others did not. Many people just built their schedule on their own and thought the two step process was "clunky". So this year we are thinking using Growtix this way: You will need to look at the schedule of classes we offer and build your own schedule offline. We will post the schedule of classes on all social medias as well as ReaperCon.com. It may also be in the Growtix system to view as well. Then after approx. 2 weeks ( to let everyone see the schedule), we will release the classes for purchase to the VIP ticket holders first. (* this is a VIP perk), then all the classes open up to everyone after 24-48hrs. So instead of clicking "register for classes" first and then going to buy the ticket, you would just go to the list and purchase them directly from the navigation button on the landing page of our Growtix page You will no longer have a class schedule on Growtix, you wil need to list those class tickets you bought to your phone's calendar or use the pull down list on your order confirmation page to "add to apple wallet", "print" or "send to phone" options Hope that explains it. I may have gone into too much detail, but we think using the direct buy class ticket will decrease confusion...everyone will just build their own schedule for ReaperCon based on the classes they took as well as games and events they sign up for. But I'm guessing most people do this anyways.

The App issue was us....Ok me...I was customizing it last year and never finished it....just too much at the time was on my plate ..therefore I always set the App to "inactive" status so it wasn't fully functional. I will do better this time and have it ready this year.

Via Growtix..... Register for classes to have an online ReaperU schedule or buy a class ticket directly without registering, but you will then need to build your own schedule offline for classes?? Let us know.

Yes, I talked to them today and they said they would have the booking link up tomorrow....*fingers crossed*. As soon as I hear something, I will post it here first....then on all other social media platforms.

We can refund up to 30 days prior to the show. The only way to have a VIP bonus bundle shipped to you is to purchase it after the con on reapermini.com (if there are quantities leftover after the show)

Login to your Growtix account or use your admission pass confirmation email to get there (there's a link)...Click on extra swag and add an additional regular swag bag to your cart. Hope this helps

The kids pass comes with a kids' swag bag....or are you meaning an additional regular swag bag ?

We will post the class ticket descriptions online so everyone will have a good look before they go on sale...this way you can also figure out your schedule on your own for your classes too.

Sorry that was us...we had issues with a couple tickets so we had to move things for better visibility which may have contributed to the "Clunkiness"

I just received confirmation with Embassy Suites that any canceled rooms in our room block (ReaperCon rate) ARE going back into our room block inventory for attendees to book at the ReaperCon rate. They did also say, that as soon as a room is canceled, that someone does pick it up and book that room. They are watching it everyday. If someone canceled a room outside the block, then that room would become available, but not at the ReaperCon rate. Hope this helps!
