  1. Thanks everyone! This mini has taken a place in my display cabinet. I love it when a miniature comes together like this one did.
  2. Thanks everyone! Glad you like him. As for the base, I don't have any WIP pics but I can explain. I didn't have any plastic bases big enough so I took a wooden disc I got a long time ago from a craft store. It was about 65mm across and glued the original base to it. I then built up some ground texture using some cheap air dry clay I watered down into a mud like consistency. I added a pinch or two of sand for added texture. I used the ground texture to fill in around and blend in the original base careful to keep it out of the slots for the feet. When that was dry I used a bit of toilet paper soaked in watered down PVA and reinforced the clay where it had cracked. Then I painted it up with a brown and added a few different colored inks then dry brushed it with a lighter color. The last touches where some static grasses and tufts from army painter. Hope that helps.
  3. Found this Treant at a local shop and had to paint it up. Intended to just do a simple paint up, but I just kept adding bits. very happy with this one. Added some moss, and felt it needed foliage and a few forest friends. The foliage is clump foliage I glued together and covered in some tea and painted up. The birds and fox are from some set of farm animals (from Pegasus) The fox is actually a small dog I added the fox tail with greenstuff. Over all very happy with the out come. Love to hear what you all think.
  4. Very happy with this guy. Fun little paint up gave him a custom base and added a but of armpit hair because his pits seemed cold. Love to hear what you guys think.
  5. One of my favorite monsters! Nice job with it. I need to get one myself.
  6. Nice job! Simple and effective.
  7. I like it. Good job with the freehand work.
  8. Congratulations on the mention! And great work. Nice smooth weapon swap and great NMM.
  9. Thank you! The drool is just clear styrene rod I softened with a candle flame and stretched out. Generous amounts of gloss varnish blends them in. Hope that helps.
  10. Thanks! Glad you all like them!
  11. nice work. good weathering on the robot!
  12. Nicely done. The only thing I could think of would be to have the fingers curled around the trident. Not sure how possible that would be without knowing the material the mini is made of.
