  1. Sorry I am not Canadian. I got it at a Dollar Tree. No idea if their in Canada or not.
  2. Thanks! I used army painter brush on primer through my airbrush. I didn't bother washing it just whent straight to priming. I had a little bit of chipping at the beginning but I patched it up with a bit more primer and was gentle with the first few coats of paint. Hope that helps.
  3. I was at a dollar store the other day and spotted some little "Paper weight" marvel busts. The factory paint job was terrible but the sculpt was passable so I decided to grab spider-man here and get in some practice on busts and different scales than I'm used to. He originally came on a tinny crappy plinth that had seam lines I could have shaved with and even had the little spider-man logo painted on upside down. So I cut him off it, eventually I'll find a replacement I like but that could take awhile. I wish I had remembered to take a before picture but by the time I remembered that it was already primed. Rather happy with it, hell I my grab a few more for some more practice. I'd love to hear what you all think.
  4. Thanks! I hope you finish yours, I'd love to see it.
  5. Great color work and I love the base.
  6. Thank you! Glade everyone likes it! Such a contrasting color scheme was a gamble for me but I'm happy it turned out so well.
  7. "I can't believe it's not an Aboleth" Picked this guy up awhile ago on a whim and since an Aboloth has come up in a game I'm playing in recently I decided to paint him up. Gave me a lot of practice with layering and I love how the orange turned out especially for the eyes. and I finally got some subcutaneous veins to look alright. I'd love to hear what you all think.
  8. "Awaiting new orders that may never come, The old guard is steadfast in it's unwavering defense of long silent masters." Decided to do yet another Kitbash. Really happy with this one, mostly cobbled together out of Gunpla parts. The main portion was some mobile suit thing that came with a GM of some kind a beam rifle I had gathering dust in a box a few bits from a petite bearguy (They have some good uses), some left over GW admech bits and some green stuff. I'd love to hear what you all think.
  9. I'll get a link up as soon as I can.
  10. I've done a few but I don't tend to do WIPs mostly because I'm terrible at remembering to document my work. But since this is my first bust and going to be a slower process than most of my projects I figured I'd give it a go. I got my hands on Ouroboros miniatures New Skin bust a bit ago. Fell in love with this sculpt the first time I saw it, and I only hope I can do it justice. My work on the bust has been slow going so far. I've gone about clipping off the gates and cleaning up the rough patches and seam lines. And attached the arms, I'm keeping the head loose as a sub assembly at the moment. I've pinned the arms and the skin flaps to the hands as well for added strength as the connection point is very small and I fear them breaking. Then I did a bit of green stuff work to fill in the minor gaps around the arms and smooth the seam where the skin flaps meat the fingers. At this point I'm sick of sanding and looking forward to the next step. Now I've got to give her a bath to ensure any mold release is gone after that I'll get her fixed to a cork and on to priming.
  11. Glad everyone likes it! I've been trying to work on my skin tones and blending, glad to hear it's paying off. Thank you! Finally getting some more use out of my old mage knight figures.
  12. Just a quick little project I had some fun with. I'd love to hear what you all think.
  13. Great work over all! Love the color scheme and the shield is a great touch.
  14. Thanks for the feedback. I'll have to adjust for next time.
