  1. Just an update on the Patriot 105. I received it and absolutely LOVE it. It is an excellent gun sprays really well and cleanup is super easy. Had a little trouble with the PAC valve bit got it lined out and everything works great. Thanks for the recommendation guys.
  2. I ended up getting it to work by taking one of the Nipples of of my Iwata and screwing it onto the adapter that came with the gun. It ended up working out. I was worried it wouldn’t because it was a little shorter than the one that came with the PAC valve but it works. I really LOVE the gun it sprays awesome and cleanup is very easy.
  3. As you guys may or may not know I ordered recently the Bagdger Patriot 105 3N1 as well as the Badger quick coupling valve with the adapter and air regulator. I recieved my new gun and the valve today but the problem I have is the quick connect chuck that goes on the gun doesn’t fit it. The regulator they sent me is part # 51-041. It isn’t quite 1/8” and it isn’t quite 1/4” kinda in between. What do I need to do to get it to fit my new gun. I paid $15 for the valve and it’ll b worthless if it doesn’t work for me. O yeah btw the brush came with the adpter to fit my air hose I have been using on my Iwata that part fits
  4. I ended up ordering the Patriot 105 with the adapter that has the air flow regulator on it after speaking to a product info person. The Krome was a little to much of a fine detail gun like the Sotar. For what I do the Patriot 105 seems like it will be the perfect gun. My understanding and level of detail is way different than other people’s because of the application I will b using it for. As I said I paint Crankbaits which do require detail but not the level of detail like painting miniatures or something like that. I don’t do illustrations so I guess I don’t really need a gun like the Krome or the Sotar. I want to thank everyone for their input on this subject you guys have been GREAT. Also the gun I got is the 3 N 1 it came with all 3 needle/nozzle combos. I ordered through Spraygunner. They had the best price I could find $120 for both pieces.
  5. What do you guys think of the Badger Renegade Krome
  6. I found one on spraygunner the Badger that is for $120 it is the 3 n 1 it comes with the 0.2 0.3 & 0.5mm nozzle and needle. Seems to b a good price for what I’ve seen on the net. I paint crankbaits so fine detail really matters to me. They have the combo you are wanting for $188 Ratmaster2000
  7. I am buying a new airbrush and trying to decide between the Badger Sotar 20/20 and the Paasche Talon TG-3W. I have read the reviews and both seem to b good guns. They are both priced about the same between $110-$120. I was wondering what you guys thought.
  8. I am trying to decide between the Badger Sotar 20/20 and the Paasche Talon TG-3W. I have read the reviews and am torn they both seem to b excellent guns. They are both around the same price between $110-$120. I know it probably doesn’t seem like a lot of money to some but for me it is. I jus want to get a good gun for my money. Any input is appreciated.
  9. After a lot of cleaning and I mean a lot I finally got my gun spraying again. I really appreciate all the help you guys gave me on the topic. I have one more question. I spray Createx Airbrush paint I have been using the High Performance Reducer offered by Createx I was jus curious if that is the best reducer for what I do. I custom paint Crankbaits. There is a lot of detail work involved so it can b a slow process
  10. Yes I am getting air bubbles back into the cup. It acts like a clogged nozzle but I tried my other two and they do the same. The gun is a cheap gun I dunno if I jus need to invest in a better gun or what. I’m thinking about switching what do you guys recommend?
  11. It is a gravity feed gun. I have used it for a while with no problem. It is a double action and like I said I have used it a while. The last time I used the gun it worked fine I always clean it thoroughly after each use with Createx 5618 cleaner. This problem jus started. U asked is the paint thin enough it won’t even spray water just air. I have an 0.2 0.3 & an 0.5 tip and have tried them all. The passage way from the bowl is clear water will flow if I remove the air cap body from the gun when the bowl is full of water. It is an internal mix gun all passageways in the air cap body and needle caps and nozzle r clear. The needle is not slipping when I draw back on the trigger. I have capped the end with my finger and back flushed it at pressures as high as 100 psi. Was a lil afraid doing it that high. I am at my wits end with this problem. Can u guys think of n e thing else
  12. I am using an Iwata Iwata 180 with my compressor set at 35 psi. I usually spray Createx water based paint. I am getting air out of the gun now but no paint. I took it apart soaked it for about an hour and cleaned everything. Reassembled and still no paint. I have three needles and nozzles an 0.2 an 0.3 and an 0.5. I tried them all in the gun and still no paint. So I took it apart and cleaned it again and still the same. Any help is greatly appreciated
