Thanks! They came from the aptly named "Skulls", by GW, a box of 340 skulls. Some very careful cutting with a razor saw, followed by sanding, gluing and putty. Ta-Da. HMP

It's fun when you find old led at the bottom of a box in a store! Just a few years ago I was at a big shop in Calgary, Canada and found some NOS Grenadier and Ral Partha. I bought whatever made me smile. HMP

Hi Gang, Been a while... this project took some time. The shoulder and knee pads were a lot of "cut and paste" (read kitbash). This isn't strictly the "Emperor's" lore, but I'm just a painter so I do whatever I like. I've also been a bit obsessed with fluorescent paint lately, and the plasma gun got the full treatment. In the end I didn't try pushing this project further as I was just running out of gas. Perhaps I could have left it on the "shelf of aging" for a while and come back to it, but in the end they made a sweet squad that I'm pleased with. See the sides, back and all that. Here. Modified for Gnoll use is slightly different than, Gnolls, "we broke it by accident because we're big strong, and slightly stupid". See photo below of a car after a bear got into it. I wouldn't say it was "modified for bear use", it's just a bear being a bear. :D If Gnolls being make a bit of a mess getting in, well these things happen... I'd cut that roof hatch wider with something sharp and make new doors/hatches out of 1 mm polystyrene. Time to get your scratch build on. Best, HMP
