  1. A while back, when I read about this promotion, I misread and thought people would be able to choose from the previously offered Bones Black promos - not a set of metal minis. D'oh! Last month's Djinn slipped through my fingers!
  2. Are there any images of Isabel and Rufus beyond the concept art from the campaign?
  3. I believe that the Dragon Plant is large sized: https://www.reapermini.com/miniatures/77505 Once I receive the Fan Favorites Expansion from Bones V, I plan to use 923: Whispering Ghoulsbane for one.
  4. Very interested in the Mongrelfolk. A few different flavors of twisted, hunched, and hooded mongrel men and mongrel women would be very useful for Curse of Strahd.
  5. This video game had such a weirdly formative influence on my 11-year-old personality.
  6. This...or a 2 inch, or a 3 inch, or a 4 inch, etc.
  7. Neat! Reminds me of Splat!, an old board game I used to have: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wAobRRA5M4Y
  8. The height of the mini isn't as important to me as the size of the mini's "footprint." Neither Bryangles, letter cubes, nor Sir Forscale are helpful in that regard.
  9. What I would like to know more than anything is base size - 1”, 2”, 3”, 4”, etc.
  10. I'm looking forward to: 1010, 1011, 1012 (Blighted Dryad and Briarlings) from the Core Set Townsfolk Dwarf King's Crypt Slithe Harpooner, Slithe Baron, and Slithe Priestess from Dark Depths Mephits from Fan Favorites
  11. Nowadays, their models aren't even that great, though. I hate the Age of Sigmar aesthetic and how that aesthetic influences other fantasy miniatures. I loved the 90s WHFB aesthetic, though.
  12. For D&D: Boulderkin = Could use as Galeb Duhr (Most recent appearance: 5e Monster Manual) Dragon Wolf = Nothing of which I'm aware in D&D. Going in my "to sell" pile. Gem Dragon = Gem Dragon (Most recent appearance: 3e Monster Manual II) Three-Headed Troll = Nothing of which I'm aware in D&D. Going in my "to sell" pile. The Thing in the Well = Could use as an Elder Brain, but could be too big (Most recent appearance: 5e Volo's Guide to Monsters) Dire Cabbage = Nothing of which I'm aware in D&D. Going in my "to sell" pile. Overgourd = Could use as Beholder, but also kind of goofy Dragon-Lion = Could use as Dragonne (Most recent appearance: 3e Monster Manual) 1001 (Surkar, Orc Shaman) = Could use as Orc/Half-Orc NPC/PC 1016 (Bane Larva) = Nothing of which I'm aware. Going in my "to sell" pile. 1017 (Bog Homonculus) = Too big to be a Homunculus in D&D, but could use as Fiend or Gargoyle 1020 (Nightcloak) = Could use as Cloaker (Most recent appearance: 5e Monster Manual) 1025 = Could use as Basilisk (Most recent appearance: 5e Monster Manual) 1029 = Krampus. Nothing of which I'm aware in D&D. Going in my "to sell" pile. Goroloth = Could use as Aboleth, but could be too big (Most recent appearance: 5e Monster Manual) Yog-Sothoth = Lovecraft Outer God. Nothing of which I'm aware in D&D. Leucrotta = Leucrotta (Most recent appearance: 5e Volo's Guide to Monsters) Cerberus = Cerberus. Nothing of which I'm aware in D&D. Going in my "to sell" pile.
  13. Call me when the Knights of Bretonnia ride again.
  14. The Axe Beak is an Axe Beak in 5e. The Hornslasher is the only reptile-like monster in Bones that is the correct size to be used as a Giant Lizard in 5e.
  15. I wish that they would dedicate more waves to fleshing out the Monster Manual.
  16. Spoons. It's not necessarily my favorite card game, but it's definitely the only card game in which I broke a chair.
  17. This mini looks great! I hope that Reaper taps you for more medium-sized monsters in the future!
  18. My players confuse easily. If the mini isn’t WYSIWYG, the time we take to run the combat increases by at least 50% with all of the, “What are they using again?” questions.
  19. I DM for D&D 5e. I run “by the book” adventures from officially licensed campaigns. What frustrates me the most about Nolzur’s Marvelous Miniatures is that, half the time, the monsters aren’t armed correctly to be “by the book” representations of the monsters in the Monster Manual. For example, gnolls in the Monster Manual have shields, spears, and bows. If a gnoll is in an officially licensed campaign, more than likely, that’s how the gnoll will be armed...yet the Wizkids gnolls have halberds or glaives or something. What the heck?
  20. I feel like heavily armored warriors with polearms and lightly armored rogues with crossbows are common archetypes for PCs, yet miniatures for them are few and far between. Here are some suggested race/equipment combos: Dwarf in Heavy Armor w/ Polearm Half-Celestial (Aasimar "counts as") in Heavy Armor w/ Polearm Half-Dragon (Dragonborn "counts as") in Heavy Armor w/ Polearm Human in Heavy Armor w/ Polearm Gnome in Light Armor w/ Crossbow Half-Fiend (Tiefling "counts as") in Light Armor w/ Crossbow Halfling in Light Armor w/ Crossbow Human in Light Armor w/ Crossbow
  21. Multi-part kits for core races and classes in D&D would be a godsend.
  22. Do ya'll remember when they said something about an Anubis-like miniature on Twitch? I wonder if anything will become of that, post Kickstarter. I need something that I can use as a Jackalware.
  23. Do new miniatures get added after the Kickstarter has ended? Is that something that has happened?
