  1. I've done quite a few kickstarters and that's always signalled a good transaction. If all else fails, you could contact KS directly. You can always check with your bank also. If something odd happens, Reaper will most likely work with you to get it corrected - just save all of the information. Even if it turns out goofed up after the funding deadline, I'd wager they'll help you get it all fixed up right. They do want to sell their products and after all, a happy customer is a powerful marketing tool. It'll be fine.
  2. Once per add. It's like purchasing at a store (literally I suppose, since it is a store).
  3. So here's the current damage. We got caught up in the (literal) last minute funding push and went from $250 in to $1000 in. Since we knew we'd be way over that long term, seemed reasonable (I think we may need a refresher on what constitutes "reasonable" but that's for another thread perhaps.) So current plan is 1798.77. We have $1000 in the pipeline, which gives a bit of time to come up with the other ~$1000. Whew, that looks even worse all typed out!
  4. There were some fantastic sculpts in this, including a lot of things that are either new or reworked in a stellar fashion (the Goroloth for example). I too have a huge amount of painted minis that are being duplicated, but I'm particularly excited to have them in bones black - for the detail if nothing else. LOL, I feel you buddy. Well you're not wrong! I love that there were so many pledging, that number looks great. Agreed, this kickstarter was great and I was transfixed entirely too often. Looks like your list has some great stuff on it! I agree with what most of the other guys have already responded with. You're saving so much getting these through the kickstarter, it's almost like the paint and supplies for them is free (ok, I know that's justification but it's largely true). Collecting at a super cheap price really does help free up monies for other things. Since the next kickstarter won't be around for 3+ years and much of the bulk of this offering won't even be at retail until at minimum that far out, you're best served by investing while it's cheap.
  5. I disbelieve. ;) But seriously, I think it'll all be fine. Once the really huge buy-ins start in an hour or two, things should start flying.
  6. I keep looking for it also. Felt like it was supposed to be imminent but I haven't noticed it pop up yet.
  7. Agreed. Hoping it picks up a huge head of steam but I'm not going to worry over it at this point. Even if it only finished this page and the existing expansions, we would have a great amount of things to choose from.
  8. Ding! Charnel pit passed. On to Chronoscope II & III!
  9. I think he meant "normal" people aren't wasting their time stalking the kickstarter. Then again, how would I know, I'm obviously not normal anyway. Crud, now we have to find something to do starting Saturday night! Back to painting? Can't wait to get those B5 boxes...
  10. Anyone know where a good image of the Halloween knight and witch is located?
  11. Thanks. :) Someone snagged it already but at least I know now. Appreciated.
  12. Ship name idea: The Bone Reaper It's getting closer folks! Abandon hope all you who have budget left! How do we switch
  13. It's almost ridiculous, I keep switching back over to the KS page and refreshing just in case it reached the goal.
  14. Better, but you still have specific dates for when kickstarter and reaper will handle "final" things, which may be off by a day or two... or more. Once you have a final copy ready to go, I'll give more detailed input on specifics. For now, note that you've left off the period on the last point in "data integration." It's probably a spacing issue but there are ways around that (just kern that line a tiny bit). Also, I'd put a small note at the bottom of the entire thing noting that it is not from Reaper and not authorized by them, it is merely for general information. Disclaimers go a long way to mitigating concerns.
  15. This. Add more qualifiers that it isn't from Reaper, make it more vague - especially since many things are totally beyond Reaper's ability to control. Things like "estimated spring 2021" (as YronimosW recommended) instead of just "spring 2021" go a long way toward decreasing confusion and frustration. I personally like it, as it helps those who don't understand the cycle of a kickstarter project. But who knows what Reaper's management (not to be confused with forum moderators) will think about it. Perhaps drop one of them a note with the link and ask for input.
  16. You got that right. Lots of unprofessional behavior, and much comes from those who really should know better.
  17. What is this sleeping you speak of? Must... see... next... reveal......
  18. Well my private inbox here is always open if you're looking to get rid of any of it. I'm really glad to hear you're doing this with your son. I am also, mostly son and his sister joins in on the painting as well (she's killer with dragons!) It's a really rewarding way to spend time with the kids I think so kudos to you! Excellent! Thanks for the feedback. I'm sold on it now, after hearing from you guys. Storage space. Well, Ikea has some great display cabinets that you might convince your significant other to allow in the living space... if you're lucky. LOL. Storage for the unpainted is the age old "stashed in a box in the basement" concept which keeps most of us from getting kicked out. ;) That's entirely too much to go through if it were me. Fortunately I've read the entire thread. I really don't think you'll be missing much by skipping it and just starting reading what comes fast and furious the next few days. If there's something specific you're in need of or a burning question you need answered, I'm sure someone would be glad to do so or at least point you to the proper place to look. So relax and just enjoy the ride!
  19. I'm sure many of us are in the same boat (it's $100, in case you didn't know!) as you so at least you have lots of company. We did around 300 on B4, already at 1200 this time with all those goodies left to see. Hang in there, it'll be worth it when that big box shows up!
  20. Or another method, perhaps release it to retail and allow KS backers a coupon to pay KS pricing but get it from a FLGS or via Reaper site. Tons of ways they could do this that would be better than putting off potential new collectors for a year or two. Awe inspiring detail there, thanks for sharing it. Are there other images on his FB page? I'm leaning more and more toward adding this.
  21. Couldn't agree more. Shipping these earlier would be a great boon for many - including Reaper themselves (and thus, those addicts among us who gain when Reaper benefits).
  22. For those who missed it, someone brought up what the rear of the Yeti temple looked like: Not an overly detailed description but it's something at least. I'm glad to hear it's not a flat surface. Wish we had pics!
