  1. They make horrible S'Mores and do not work well as a roasted marshmallow either.

The secret to roasting peeps is to do it slowly that way the sugar coating turns into a crspy shell with nice gooiness inside. If you do it right you can get just a hint of caramelization for a nice nutty hint of flavor. ::):

  2. Not really a boss but...

A co-worker of mine decided to go on vacation, so a co-worker friend and I decided to play a prank (or two) on him.

We took a piezo-electric buzzer and put it in the ceiling panels right above his desk and wired it follow our network cables over to my desk.

We then hooked up a power supply, an on/off switch and a potentiometer (or Variable resistor) to control the volume.

Voila..instant annoyance that we could turn up or down.

When he got back we had it turned on really low so that he just though it was background noise, and had a few obvious pranks so he caught those, then we would gradually turn in up or spike it up really loudly.

We'd then pretend not to hear it, or turn it off when he'd come to get one of us to witness it.

We drove him nuts for days.

That's a great one. Now I have ideas.

  3. My other min-pin, Duke, has gotten himself stuck on the top rail of our privacy fence because he can get up there from a bench on the porch but the fence is a dead end and he can't turn around. That's a funny worried look he has when he needs to be rescued.

  4. I have a min-pin, Weeman, who is quite a clown. One of the funniest things though involves his blankie. He likes to chew holes in it, he also like to bury himself in it. The other day I got home from work and started letting the dogs out of their crates and Weeman come flying out only to be clotheslined because he had his head sticking through one of the holes and he stepped on the blanket. He did a full sumersault and came up with this look like what just happened?

  5. I'm pickin' up mine this weekend. (ordered at my FLGS). I usually convert the singles and wait on the unit pack later, but I'm going to shamelessly steal the idea of converting some of these guys into zombie hunters!! I just ordered the zombie hunter weapons sprue from Hasslefree, so it's all good. See ya at the Winchester!!

It's OK I'll forgive your idea theft so long as you post picks of your converted zombie hunter goodness. :poke:

  6. Except bloodstone is green and red, not grey and red. :poke:

Of course according to the little bit of fluff in Casket Works their home could be calle "the Bloodstone Caves" because the lifeblood is sucked out of all but the BSGs, thus the stone could look like any type...

Because a world with Elves and Magic and Dragons and Gnomes (other than Travelocity) has to confirm with what our geologists call bloodstone? :poke:::P:

    Exactly. :blues:::D:::P:

  7. I bet the stone parts of the weapon are meant to be the bloodstone from which this particular clan/nation of gnomes derives their name.

You and your blasted logic! :poke:

I bet making a marble effect with the Carnage Reds and some dark/near black greys would look pretty sweet.

  8. It looks kinda a type of weapon the Aztecs used, which consisted of a wooden "paddle" with sharp blades of obsidian embedded on the edge.

    -StV.

I just got two scraggers in yesterday and this descibes the weapon well. Though it looks to me like the entire weapon should be stone reather than have a wooden paddle.

I almost want to order one and conver the sword to a cricket bat so I can have a Bloostone Zombie Slayer Scragger. ::D:
